The only rule in wedding planning is that there are no rules…

This November our owner, Jacquelyn invited her closest family and friends to a party advertised as her 40th birthday party, but she and her long time love of 15 years (Robert) had other plans 😘 They decided it was high time to celebrate their marriage and turn her birthday party into a (surprise!) wedding for their guests💕🎉 Guests were asked to wear black and white cocktail attire so they were wedding photo ready 🖤 Only a few of their vendors knew about the surprise! Jacquelyn’s aunt baked a (delicious) homemade “birthday cake” not knowing it was ultimately going to be their wedding cake! 🎂 There were many details that were non-negotiable for the couple. First, their DJ, was the DJ the night that Jacquelyn and Robert met at McSwiggan’s in Hoboken, NJ almost 15 years ago. The couple frequently danced to TJ’s sets during the first few years of dating and remember actively falling in love on his dance floor. They couldn’t imagine their special evening without him there to keep all of their guests dancing all night! When his time was up, the party wasn’t ready to end so they asked him to stay for an extra hour. It took a solid week for everyone’s feet to fully recover and epsom salt baths were encouraged after 6 straight hours of dancing💃🏻🕺🏻Second, the couple was steadfast at getting married in their home. Their home holds so many amazing memories throughout their relationship and has been filled with lots of love over the years. They wanted their night to feel intimate and knew their home was where they wanted to have their wedding dance together, right in their living room. Being the owner of a wedding planning company many people guessed that Jacquelyn and Robert would have a huge, traditional, and opulent wedding, but those who know the couple best know they always do things just a little differently. Robert and Jacquelyn had the best night of their lives and had a wedding night that was uniquely “them”…💖 Photography Decor Hair & Make-up Music Rentals Favors
