“Life is precious, and I’m deeply thankful for it. I’m grateful for my family—my husband, my children, my one and only brother, my sisters, both those bound by blood and those who have chosen to be family, so many. You know who you are. It’s during life’s toughest battles, like illness, that you discover who truly stands by your side. The ones who show up when it counts are the ones who matter most.

It’s a hard lesson, but when people you’ve always been there for don’t show up for you, it’s time to take note. Keep your circle small and filled with those who are genuine. The Almighty, with the help of His angels, carried me through moments I thought I’d never survive.

I was shattered, broken, and couldn’t see the light, but the process is unfolding positively, even though the road ahead is long, more surgeries, more battles to fight. I’ll keep moving forward with faith, surrounded by positivity and the true, loyal souls who walk this journey with me. Together, we’ll make it.

To all those I’ve been there for—every call, every need I jumped to help with—it’s ok. Life reveals who stands by you in the storm and who remains in the glory. I’ve learned who truly values me, and for that, I’m thankful.”
