Nikki Giovanni, the world-renowned American poet and a leading voice of the 1960s Black Arts movement, died on December 9th at the age of 81 after her third cancer diagnosis.

I'm bringing all of these items and more to the Deck the Halls Christmas Market at Frieden Farms this Saturday. Pick up unique gifts for your family and friends and yourself! I'll have vintage home and holiday decor, items for entertaining (glassware, candle holders, cake plates, vases, fondue pots, barware, ice buckets, etc.), furniture, and even a few vintage children's toys.

Come out to 4626 Friedens Church Road, Mt. Crawford, VA from 10 am to 3 pm. There will be lots of other wonderful vendors and food trucks also. Hope to see you there.

What a difference a year makes! At the beginning of February 2023, Sub Rosa Supper Club had us set up a lounge area for their first dinner of the year at the Manufactory Collective warehouse space-in-the-making. The spirit of innovation of co-founders, Debbie and Nate Irwin, was the inspiration for a Cuban dinner and creating a lounge filled with rich green and earth tones.

Now, a year later, the manufacturing incubator is open and tenants are filling the spaces that have undergone a transformation. We look forward to stopping by soon to check it out.
