Hi! I’m Catherine. I’m a hopeless romantic who loves creating timeless imagery of exquisitely beautiful moments. On a wedding day, I don’t just show up and snap photos. I really take the time to be intentional, photographing the beautiful details and special moments that are important to you. During couples portraits, I guide you through posing in a way that feels fun and romantic, never stuffy!

As a person who creates intentional imagery, I make sure each image I deliver is one that you’d like to keep. And because I’m a recovering perfectionist, I now send all my weddings out for editing so I have more time for my family. The good news for you is that you get your images super fast!

I take on a limited number of weddings each year so I can deliver exceptional quality and focus for my couples.

At every wedding there are the prettiest details, and then there are the memories, the things I remember...I remember the love, faith, & joy of the day! I remember how fun it felt dancing at the reception. I remember tearing up during the vows. I remember the reverence & intention that accompanied the ceremony & the celebration of two families becoming one.

I love so many things about being a wedding photographer, sometimes I have to pinch myself.

I recently rediscovered this photo of myself from a few years ago, at my very FIRST wedding, & it reminded me of all the feelings I had that day.

I felt in awe of the love between the couple, joyful at the sweet personal moments, and teary-eyed at the vows & speeches.

And you know what? I still feel that way before every wedding!

And I don't know about you, but I can SMELL this photo. They were Duck Donuts and smelled so yummy!

Happy New Year!! It's the first day of 2023, and it's still Christmas season in the Gilmore home.

I've been spending much needed time with my children after a whirlwind of a wedding season & thinking about the idea of waiting with joyful anticipation.

So often we have big dreams for our lives, problems that need solved, wounds that need healed, and we want that all to happen NOW.

And if you're a bride, you're waiting to be married!

We spend Advent praying and preparing.

Then Christmas comes and we feast on all the rich foods & bake cookies & watch allllll the Christmas movies & listen to alllll the Christmas songs for the entirety of the Christmas season! (We celebrate the 12 days of Christmas, till Epiphany.)

I hope your Christmas has been filled with celebration and joy! And I hope you have an amazing 2023!
