When you are searching for your photo/video team, it’s easy to look at a bunch of pretty pictures and be influenced, but one thing to remember is the photographer doesn’t have control of the flowers, the venue, the decor.

All they have control over is their perspective on the day. Their story telling skills are what sets them apart and makes each team unique.

Some of the best moments on a wedding day happen during the reception. The stress is gone, the anxiety is nonexistent and it’s time to celebrate with your people! The drinks have also been flowing 😂

I think one of the most important parts about photography, is connecting with your subject before you start photographing them. Being able to connect human to human, allows you to capture your couple in a more authentic way.

Hi! It’s Sharlene and Jason wanted to show our faces and share some random things about us:

- we love collecting new tattoos every time we travel to a new place

- We got married in Mexico February 2023 and lived there for 3 months

- We are a cat fam and have two kitties we love so much (Misty and Rue)

- Jason used to work on a farm when I first met him

- I take pottery classes for fun and have really been into picking up new hobbies the past year

- one day we will print all of our travel photos and hang them in our home

- when we travel to a new spot the first thing we are doing is checking out the local coffee shop and thrift stores.

The wave of emotion on a wedding day is one that can’t even be put into words.

It’s the nerves building up as you’re touching up your lipstick, the way your heart falls into your stomach when you’re about to see your partner.

The tears that escape when you exchange vows, the cheering and clapping from your guests as you walk down the aisle, kisses and hugs from your family and friends.

The laughter exchanged over cocktails and speeches.

It’s certainly a ride and it’s such a privilege we get to capture these memories with you, forever!

Because in a year and beyond… after the celebration has been had, the flowers have wilted, the money spent … all you will be left with are the memories, the photos, and the videos.

It truly is one of the “best days” of your life. I never believed anyone until I got married myself. I thought people were over hyping it up…. they’re not. As long as you stick to what you want, it really is an amazing day, you get to spend with your favorite people!

I need to go to the State Fair again! This was such a fun session with Sabrina and Carlos and so personal to them.

We love hanging with our couples before the wedding, it allows us all to meet, shoot together and vibe.

Donna + Alonso - Engagement Session

These two are the best for weathering the freezing temperatures with us to go shoot this awesome engagement session. We started at Unionville Winery and ended over at Sourland Mountain as the sun was setting. We can't wait to photograph AND film their wedding this September!

Bre + Joe - Princeton, NJ

We had the BEST time shooting around Hogwarts (wait, Princeton). We got lucky and were able to create some snowy vibes during Bre and Joe's engagement session. We started the day at Skillman Park, where Joe proposed to Bre, and ended it at Princeton University. We are so excited to shoot their wedding later this year!
