I don't generally post much about my personal life here but I've been feeling super thankful lately and I wanted to share. ⁠

Both sets of our parents were in the Air Force when they met. I grew up thinking I would meet my husband in the Air Force. But life had different plans for both of us, and I'm so glad for it. I still never would have met my husband had it not been for the Air Force and I'm thankful every day. ⁠

Today is International Museum Day!⁠

Little known fact:⁠
Stephen and I were married in a museum just outside of Savannah. His grandfather flew with the Mighty Eighth in WWII and is memorialized at the

It was a no brainer. ⁠
⁠
The stained glass in their Chapel of the Fallen Eagles is absolutely stunning as are their memorial gardens and reflecting pool. There was so much for our guests to learn about inside the museum, too. It was an honor to pay tribute to an amazing man and share his story with our nearest and dearest. Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of meeting LT COL John O. Toliver. But I was blessed, for a time, with the presence of his late wife, Gretchen. A gem of a woman.⁠
