I love the metaphor od this photo - your wedding day is such a blur! Always make sure between your planner and photographer you are scheduling in some buffer time to be able to slow down and enjoy your day, especially with your partner. It's truly a gift to yourself!

Happy National Pets Day! This is Indie (Pie-Pie) and Margot (Margs). We also have a cat at home, Zero. (All rescues!) My family and I are huge animal lovers. Did you know I donate a portion of every wedding a the local humane society? I love helping out the animals who cant speak and just want to be loved in any way I can.

I love that Galentine's Day is such a thing these days. Celebrate with your pals, no matter if they're a gal or not. (Should we rename this day to Palentines Day??) Giving love to the family you get to chose is always a good idea.

Sometimes life can drag a person down - busy schedules, new baby, working two or more jobs, etc. Finding time to create, write, color, breathe in fresh air can be a struggle. I havent had a hobby in quite some time and would love to find the time for one. I do love to dream about flowers though and think about how to create something new, fresh, and maybe off the wall. Some ideas work - like this head piece - and some flop, and that's okay. Creating is dreaming.

Lets talk long reception tables; when a planner informs me that their couple are having long banquet tables for their guests I get excited! I love the look of a natural wood table or even better one draped with a gorgeous patterned linen. Add in a slew of beautiful, seasonal flowers and BAM! a stunning table for your guests to be seated at and enjoy.

I always think of candlelight when I envision New Years Eve. Not sure if it's the sparkle of the night or a metaphor for the end of the year and beginning of the next. Either way, candles are always a must in celebrating! Happy New Years!
