Ok folks, especially my Cheers Altamonte Bar & Grill family, it’s been a sad week. last Sunday we learned that someone from our Cheers Family had passed on. Its been really hard to take in, but we’ve lost Stevo. He brought Cheers to the level that it is today and we’re all grateful for being included in that journey with him. A man of many bartending talents and karaoke skills he will be missed. Like all of our fallen heroes , we must salute and toast them in remembrance for the mark they’ve left on our lives. Whether you loved or hated Stevo, he’s an experience that you cannot forget.

As far as upcoming karaoke on the 29th, we’re changing our end of the month theme night to this Saturday the 22nd; which we’ll be doing 60’s night music for the end of our 6th month. We’ll also do some shout outs and toasts for Stevo, as well as I’ll play a few of his karaoke recordings for all to reminisce.

On the 29th we will have our official celebration of life for Stevo starting around 4:30 that is shared below. If you’re an ultimate Cheers Regular and remember the legend please join us. As we’ll toast and remember the legend. I will have a microphone for some stories and announcements and for the family as well as play some of Steve’s karaoke recordings and some of his favorite songs from the Juke box he would torture us with. And also some group singalongs in tribute the legend.

Later on past 9 we will get into karaoke if the moment is right as we want all who’ve come to be able to enjoy and talk about Stevo. But we’d like to sing a tribute to Stevo and sing the songs he would sing. Because this night is all about him and his friends gathering to remember this legend.

As a warning, if you’re just wanting to sing and not familiar with Stevo, this might not be a good night to come. As it will be packed with those who loved Stevo, so karaoke may not be a priority as much as sharing the stories about Stevo. See you guys this Saturday for 60s night for some remembrance toasts and shoutouts for Stevo. And make sure to show up and show your love for Stevo on the 29th.

Ok folks, just a reminder since we’re having 5 Saturdays in June we’re going to “up” our theme nights. Starting tonight it’s going to be BAD KARAOKE NIGHT at Cheers Altamonte. That’s right, it’s that time to tear up some tunes. Come out and sing something new, something different, something you can’t sing, something you couldn’t sing in a million years, tonight’s the night to do. Join us for a fun night with no divas, no judging, no drama…. Just a night of singing some of your favorite songs poorly. The party starts at 9:30-1:30 so show up early before the rotation fills up. Awesome drinks, killer food, and great staff along with BenJammin keeping the party going. In 2 weeks we’ll have hard rock and heavy metal night followed by 60’s night on the last Saturday of June.
