The small details of a wedding day are often overlooked, but they are so incredibly important to capture!

As a wedding photographer + videographer, I know how much effort and thought goes into every aspect of a wedding. The shoes you wore, the invitations you carefully selected, the rings you exchanged – they all have a unique story to tell. And as a storyteller, I love nothing more than capturing those moments and making them come alive through my lens.

That’s why I always take the time to capture all these little details in my work. Not only do they add to the overall story of the day, but they also bring back those special memories when you look back on your wedding photos and videos✨📸🥂

This is what I mean when I say it’s ALL in the ✨details✨

There are a lot of wedding reception traditions that I can do without, but the cutting of the cake is not one of them! This is one of my favorite moments of the whole day 🤍

Pro tip! I suggest cutting the cake immediately after the first dance and toasts. This way, everyone can enjoy dinner and go right into dancing, without interrupting the energy & flow of the evening!

Or, if you plan on having a dress change, sneak out towards the end of dinner & get into your second look. Emerge as plates are being cleared and immediately cut the cake in your reception dress! It’s a moment all your guests will remember & it allows for you to seamlessly transition into dancing 💃
