Art is not what the artist forms in the creative process but what message or memory the artist wishes to convey to his or her audience. I am found to have the same passion that Frida Kahlo once expressed within her painted works. Frida Kahlo once said “I paint my own reality. The only thing I know is that I paint because I need to, and I paint whatever passes through my head without any other cons

ideration” Like Frida Kahlo and her paintings, my art work is a way for me to create my own artistic thoughts and reality right before me. It is through my photography that I find myself capturing a moment in time before it is lost in translation forever. In my deconstruction series, I am found capturing a part of history before it is lost forever. Within my pictorial works, I am not trying to convey a message or feeling I have within. I want the viewer to create their own messages or feelings solely on their own. Edgar Degas once said “Art is not what you see, but what you make others see”.
