Hey guys, Addison here 👋🏼
It’s been a while since you guys have seen us on here, and that’s because life has been different lately for us. In case you didn’t know, we welcomed our precious baby boy, Eden, six months ago. He has given us a new sense of purpose and we now see life with such joy and meaning like we never have before. However, I want to be vulnerable and state that these have also probably been some the hardest months that we’ve ever been through as well. We welcomed Eden in the midst of our busy season with work (bad planning on our part 🤪) and to say that it has been hard to figure out our work/life balance would be an understatement. We are figuring out a whole new way of life right now. After Eden was born, it felt like we were getting hit with one thing after the other. Viruses, an ER visit, mastitis, covid. It felt impossible to catch up with work, although we are slowly but surely getting there now.
I have also been trying to find my way as I have been navigating the depths of postpartum depression.. Something I thought I could just brush off but it’s one of the heaviest things I have ever carried if I can just be honest.
I’m saying all of this to just be human and let you guys know that we are sincerely trying our best right now. Our clients have been the very best, but I also know that there is obvious anticipation while waiting for a gallery that captured one of the most joyous days of your life. Thank you guys for being so patient with us. We tell so many people this because it’s true: We have really been blessed with the kindest and most understanding clients.
We just wanted you guys to know where we are right now. Life looks different. Work looks different. We believe this season is turning us into more resilient people and we are grateful for it 🤍
