❄️ Penney Lane Winter Wonderland event ❄️

This was my second year at this event and I am so happy to be back! Lots of giveaways for the kiddos and free community resources. Always a good time!

Working with the DCFS office the last few years has showed me an entirely different side of the people who are involved with what they do. This was such a great event to be a part of.
During the holiday season events are typically aimed at younger kids and the older ones tend to get left out. This was specifically for older teens and they had so many amazing things! Free clothes, gift cards, a video game station, DJ, 360 Photo Booth, and an In and Out truck, plus ME face painting!
I didn’t get many pictures because I was pretty busy, but I had a great time and was honored to be a part of such a great local community event.
