Just found out the details about this from the Arizona state parks.
Although we offer our personal venue for your wedding ceremony, it’s a fabulous idea for those of you who are looking for a wedding venue for your ceremony ONLY.
It has a great Western historical flair and inside a gorgeous old
Court building.
TOMBSTONE COURTHOUSE IS OPEN!
Here is their wedding info:
Weddings’s are defined as a ‘special event’ as their normal business operation is a museum.
Therefore the Tombstone courthouse requires a reservation of 2 hrs. prior for a wedding ceremony.
They offer two different wedding event possibilities.
1. Weddings with 20 or fewer people can be hosted at the Courthouse museum during their business opening hours.
(Be informed however that the museum stays open for visiting guests)
Fees for a wedding ceremony are:
Wedding ceremonies performed during the court hours business hours. $50
(This includes admission for up to 10 guests)
2. If you choose to have UP TO 20 or more guest attending your wedding ceremony. $75
BUT;
Wedding ceremonies with MORE than 20 people in attendance can only be performed after museum hours.
This requires a minimum reservation of 2 hrs.
The Wedding Ceremony has to be performed prior to 9 PM.
Here are those fees:
After Hours Wedding ceremonies for 90 minutes.$200
(This includes admission for up to 50 guests)
Also
The after hours wedding ceremony also requires a $50 non-refundable deposit.
There is ample parking available in Tombstone. But if you’d insist to park at the courthouse itself, it would require an Arizona State Parks & Trails Special Use Permit Application as well as a
Tombstone Courthouse Event Planning form.
These forms have to be submitted to Park Staff.
Upon approval of the
Special Use Permit, the deposit payment must be made to secure reservation and a Certificate of
Insurance must be provided to the Park.
The entire event fees must be paid in full a minimum of
two weeks prior to event and are refundable (excluding the deposit) with a minimum of a 24-hour
notice.
All events are subject to museum rules including:
No animals, except service animals, are allowed in the building
No Food or Drink other than Water in the building
No Fi****ms
