Just a few things that have / will come up (and I want you to be prepared for!) 🫶 Here is a list of *random* advice I usually give to my clients at some point throughout our planning meetings: ✨ Anticipate 80% of invited guests attending your wedding ✨ Of that 80%, only order 60-75% of party props / sparklers (Example: 100 attending guests, order 60 total props and 75ish sparklers) ✨ RSVP date should be 5-6 weeks in advance of the wedding, and invites should only be sent one month prior to that. So, a May 30th wedding would have their RSVP date around mid-April and they would send invites in mid-March. Try not to go much earlier than that! ✨ If you or your family is from the Northeast, remember that coffee isn’t automatically included in catering quotes around here ☕ (and it may be something that is socially expected by your guests!) ✨ Escort displays (aka seating charts) should be alphabetical when possible, rather than by table... think about it like a guest: looking for Lange on a list is a LOT faster than scanning 20 tables for my name 👀 Make sure you save this list for when you’re in planning mode – many of these will guide some of your bigger decisions! Long story short... YES - every couple feels like they truly had the *best day ever* 🥹✨🤍 The bride that asked me (not this lovely lady in the video!) posed the question during her outfit change for her reception, because she was riding that wedding day high that all of our couples do - and just couldn’t believe that her feelings could be replicated. She felt like the luckiest girl in the world.
