It’s been a minute, Instagram! A little about me:

👨‍👩‍👧 Most days you’ll find me hanging out with my family! My husband Fred, and my daughter Rosie.
📋On wedding days I love finalizing the details and seeing everything come together!
🌍I am a founder of a non-profit that helps families and children in Kenya. I’m super passionate about our mission to help kids attend school and empower women.

I’m also not a fan of social media and the random algorithms that come with it. But I’m hoping to share more of our 2023 weddings soon ☺️

Some of our favorite stress-free wedding day tips!

👗Steam the wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses the day before

💌Put your vendor tips in an envelope the week of and hand it off to your planner first thing

📝Leave at least 1.5 hours before the ceremony to be fully ready- time for bridal portraits/PJ photos/plenty of time to breathe

📱Give your phone to someone in the bridal party to field texts and take videos/photos throughout the day

We’re back! If you missed it, my family and I travel to Kenya to visit family every year. For the past three weeks we’ve been trekking all over dirt roads, introducing Rosie, and making memories.

Getting back into the swing of things this week: replying to all the emails and scheduling calls mostly. Wedding season is right around the corner!

We’ve been getting another wave of 2022/23 wedding inquiries and can’t wait for what this year has in store.

Last year was a whirlwind and I’m being a little more particular this year in order to put my very best forward and not get burnt out. We also tend to choose an outdoor venue over a country club! That’s just our vibe, but we’re happy to recommend other amazing planners in that niche 🤗

We are getting close to being totally booked for 2022! While I LOVE what I do, 2021 taught me to not overdo it and to make time for rest, friends, and family ✨

Speaking of friends- here’s one of my greatest friends on her wedding day. Alyssa is one of the hardest working girls I know and you might have seen her huffing it at weddings this year 💪🏽 I’m so thankful for a wonderful team behind Willow!
