The House version of SF2909, the Senate Public Safety Omnibus Policy & Budget Bill, has passed 69-60 with bi-partisan opposition. 🧵

The bill contains two gun control provisions: Universal Background Checks and Red Flag Gun Confiscation.

NO Republicans voted for this bill. DFL Rep Dave Lislegard also voted AGAINST the bill.

Next stop: Because there are differences in the House & Senate versions, there will be a conference committee appointed and they'll "work out the differences".
