Here's my reply.....
I have been on both sides of the entertainment business for over 4 decades. I got off the road years ago to become a stay-at-home dad. I called my CA agent, quit my high paying job on the road as a magician and speaker (yes, I used to make bank doing just 4-5 shows a month). Being a dad was what was important to me then and it is still important to me to this day. It's about being a father first over a career.
But then I said... NOW, WHAT? (uh-oh).....
I used to travel coast to coast with my own illusion show and flight show, for small crowds of 5 people all the way up to 15,000 seaters and playing on a big screen and to a live audience. Those days were great, but I couldn't justify being a speaker and entertainer for kids, making thousands a month, when I couldn't be there for my own kid and crisscrossing the USA all the time.
With my magic, and speaking, as well as, my vocational background in graphics and printing background (in those early hard days of running a 6 color Heidelberg press to help before I was on the road full time) --- I saw a great need to help entertainers get a hell of a lot better at their marketing and branding.
Since then I have created a way to help brand entertainers in over 70 countries around the world, from small-time entertainers to Vegas shows. I do this with not only personalized printed props and products but through helping entertainers bring about brand cohesion with a plan. I work with every client by understanding where they are, where they want to be, and how it is that I can serve them best *whether through prop design, graphics, web development, or all of it).
Bottom line...... I help tell the stories of entertainers so that they can become a remembered brand name with their audience and buyers, but more importantly ----- help them make their mark on the world by following their passion.
