Two beautiful weddings this weekend, Friday and Saturday evening. Engaged couples do not need to spend thousands of dollars ($$$$$) to experience a beautiful and inspired wedding ceremony.
Joey and Dawn and I spent a lot of time preparing for their wedding ceremony. Over 100 family and guests celebrated with this great couple. They have endured a lot but are ready for a great future.
It’s been a busy week of officiating weddings and planting seeds of good news!
Christine and Jay were pronounced as husband and wife at the Wright Family Park in Bluffton, today at 10:00am!
Jay is a recruiter. Christine is a school teacher. They were surrounded with 15 family members and friends.
Alexis and Truett were united in marriage in front of their 110 family members and guests at the May River Chapel at Palmetto Bluff. The groomsmen were tall and huge, like a football team. And I learned today, many were. Truett and his teammates played at the University of Alabama under Nick Sabin. Truett played tight-end and won two championship rings under Coach Sabin. Their ceremony was inspiring and fun as everyone celebrated with this beautiful couple.
Cheryl and Patrick enjoyed a beautiful evening surrounding their inspiring wedding ceremony at the 5-star resort, Palmetto Bluff.
It’s been a busy week of officiating weddings from Sea Pines Harbourtown golf course 18 green, to Palmetto Dunes, to Oldfield River-house.
Palmetto Bluff at Moorland Landing was the informal and beautiful setting for Jack and Kelly. Being a part of a new church start at Palmetto Bluff they met and knew their future would be as one. With 60 plus family and friends surrounding them, their ceremony was beautiful and inspiring.
From Cincinnati, Leslie and Evan are making it legal.
Billy and Marissa both live locally and chose to be married at the Sonesta Resort. Their ceremony on the lawn was beautiful and their 60 guests were very excited for them. Meet Mr. And Mrs William Garagen.
Andi Dueñas and Clare Welsch were united in marriage this evening at the Omni Resort. With 70 family and guests, their ceremony was written with the purpose of telling their story of faith.
Their ceremony was beautiful and their family and guests were so appreciative .
Veronica and Mike with 20 family members and friends from Sarasota, Florida were married this evening at the Sonesta Beach Club on Hilton Head, Island.
Alicia and Carter with fifty family members and friends from Hartland, Wisconsin were united in marriage at the Port Royal Golf and Racket Club on Hilton Head Island this Sunday afternoon. Because of inclement weather, the planned garden ceremony was moved into the Clubhouse creating a very pristine and intimate setting.
Carly and Kevin from Washington, Pennsylvania were married today at the Omni Shorehouse on HHI.
Lauren and Thomas from Berkley, Michigan with family and friends were united in marriage yesterday (Friday) at the Sonesta Resort on Hilton Head Island.
A very happy wedding day for Dianne and James on the beach at the Omni with their family and guests!
On the 18th at Harbourtown with Tori and Kevin and their 150 family members, friends and guests from Phoenix, Arizona.
Today was an exact 32 year wedding anniversary for Maria and Mike from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. We celebrated their anniversary with a service including telling stories, laughing and weeping, a vow-renewal ceremony and then sharing Holy Communion. God was present, smiling and blessing. The picture isn’t great but their story of His faithfulness is. As my friend says, “always an honor”!
What a fun and great three days as I celebrated the covenant of holy matrimony with the Timmerman’s, the O’Connelly’s, and the Moore’s. We celebrated from venues on Hilton Head Island to Beaufort and Palmetto Bluff. It was an honor to work with these couples and to officiate their weddings over this beautiful weekend!
A rare but beautiful Tuesday evening wedding ceremony for Troy and and Taylor at the Dunes House on Hilton Head Island. Their families and 40 guests joined the couple to celebrate their love and public commitment to love, honor and cherish one another for the rest of their lives.
After several months of planning by the grooms mother, Cindy, her son Kevin and now daughter-in—law, Elena were married on the beach at the Westin Resort on Hilton Head Island.
Why would a grooms mother plan the couples wedding? Because both, in two different states, were finishing their residency after having completed medical school. And they look so young…
I would like for you to meet Doctors Kevin Kohut and Elena Nikonova.
Elena from Russian was taught English by her grandmother while still living in Russia and Elena’s parents moved to the USA to teach physics at the University of Pennsylvania.
Jenifer and Luke with their parents and family drove to Bluffton, SC from St. Augustine, Florida for one purpose!
Jenifer and Luke were united in marriage at the Rose Hill Mansion. It was a beautiful day in a pristine setting.
Just getting ready…..
A beautiful couple wed on an 80 degree day.
Michael and Erin’s wedding was attended by 110 family and friends from the states of Texas and Maryland. The weather was perfect and the ceremony at the Oldfield Club was a beautiful expression of sincerity and commitment!
John and Emily’s wedding was held at Agape Oaks on St. Helena Island.
They were surrounded by their wedding party of 24, their families and many guests. Under a giant oak tree they exchanged vows, heard a biblical explanation of marriage and prevenient grace and the couple’s favorite biblical passages were read.
It was a beautiful afternoon!
Heather and Brandon with 35 of their family members and guests traveled to Palmetto Bluff from Augusta, Georgia.
Their wedding was a beautiful celebration of their love and public vow commitment.
I was honored to officiate Maddi & Rick’s New Year’s Eve wedding ceremony at the beautiful Palmetto Bluff Somerset Chapel with 160 of their family members, friends and guests from New York. Rick is the Lacrosse coach at West Point and Maddi is ahead of Public Relations for the New York Giants. What a great future is theirs!
