We just celebrated our daughter’s 7th Birthday at our local park! Park parties can be very convenient if you don’t have adequate yard space but also hard if you’re trying to stay within a budget and not bring everything but the kitchen sink. Starting a kid’s party with a craft or art activity is a great way to allow guests to arrive staggered while at the same time giving the kids something to do before the games begin. Late comers can always jump in and finish their project at the end so give sometime at the end for them too. I call it a BOOKEND activity! For this one I used a mold from the National Geographic Volcano kit, a lot of plaster of Paris, and acrylic paint pot strips! Everything went home with the kids except the brushes and they got to erupt those bad boys at home………….

Sensory Activities for a 2 year old’s bday! Garden 🪴 box, watermelon 🍉 water bead box, and a little bit of sticker, paint stick and gluing action! So fun 🤩! Thank you for having me Happy Birthday to your little munchkin!

I love the use of remnant fabrics, with fall florals suspended by copper piping. If your a boho bride this is a beautiful minimalistic way to use fabric, florals and wispy grasses. Love the warm tones, it really makes me want a spiced something in a hot drink.

This spring you’re going to see a lot of potted plants lining ceremony aisles, placed next to signage and even on reception tables. Couples and vendors are going eco-friendly, trying to keep the post wedding waste to a minimum, and you know what...I dig it! (Pun intended) 😉. Plus instead of having to worry about getting your guests a take away, who wouldn’t want to take a potted plant 🪴 home and plant it in their garden and watch it grow. Also how gorgeous are these bistro chairs draped with sheer fabric? Cue the 🦋! 📸
