Meet Habanero (aka Habs), the newest addition to the Meetings, Management, and More team. He showed up outside the office Tuesday hiding behind a planter and quickly stole our hearts. Vet visit yesterday, clean bill of health, weighing in at 1lb 2oz, he is adorable and feisty! Now to get settled in to being an awesome office cat.

Luau kick-off party for the Summer Youth Employment Program with our newest client Garten Services! It was great to connect with our 21 youth employees, their families, and our job coaches and we all enjoyed a great meal by Mr. Matthew Miller!

Last month, May 2024, Jessica Carpenter owner of Meetings, Management, and More was awarded the President's Award at the 2024 OFMA Annual Business Meeting and Training Conference. Our team is proud of the clients we get the honor of supporting and appreciate that they feel the same way! The award now hangs proudly in the office.

Friends and Family..... we are seeking host job sites for the Garten Services Summer Youth Employment Program. No expense to the employer, Garten handles all payroll needs for youth employees and their job coaches.

Potential job sites we'd love to connect with:

*Retirement Communities
*Hardware/Farm Supply Stores
*Restaurants
*Retail
*Print shops
*Hotels
*Floral shops/Garden centers

Youth employees, alongside their job coaches, will work Mon-Thurs for about 4.5 hours per day but we are open to working with job sites for 2-4 days of work each week depending on your needs. Job sites start July 8, but we'd like to lock in locations in the next week or two so we can assign youth and job coaches.

New client shout out!

We are excited to be contracting with Garten Services, Inc to coordinate the Summer Youth Employment Program, offering paid employment opportunities to youth ages 17-21 in the IDD community along side amazing companies who provide employment opportunities and job coaches who support the youth employees. Everyone deserves an opportunity to be employed and we are proud to be giving these youth the chance to gain some employable skills in a safe and supported environment.

The mission of Garten Services, Inc. is to support people with disabilities in their effort to contribute to the community through employment, career, and retirement opportunities.
