Sometimes when I photograph weddings, I don't have a lot of time to take pictures of them, but I really appreciate the times when I do have time to just let the creativity flow!

Baby Hite made her debut last week, and I don't know if the world is going to recover. She. Is. PRECIOUS. So proud of this mamma. She is the calmest and most patient person I think I know. She did an amazing job and I'm so proud of these 4!

I am beginning to take my business in a somewhat new direction. I have been offering family sessions for a while that are mini sessions (usually kids don't have very long attention spans, and they tap out pretty quickly), and I will still be offering those!

BUT, I am now gearing my family sessions toward these hour-long lifestyle sessions. These are going to be the kind of sessions where I just document your family. I am really digging the cinematic feel of photos, and I want to deliver a product that "feels" like memories, and not just pictures of looking at the camera and smiling (though those pictures will be included too). These are going to be more in line with capturing the chaos of your family, The individual personalities of each of your kids, and how your family lives life together! They will be very creative sessions and can be anything that you dream up to do.

I'm really excited to be offering these! These sessions really give me life, and I can't wait to be offering them as the new norm. New pricing will be going up soon, and these sessions will be included on the website within the next couple of months!

Have you ever heard of the greatest man in history? More famous than Muhammed, wiser than Ghandi, more powerful than Nero. Jesus Christ. A man historically proven to walk the earth and start a movement called Christianity. Well, today is the day we celebrate Him rising from the dead!

Something so miraculous that even His own disciples didn't know who He was fully until it happened. They buried him, they prepared his body for death, they said their tear-felt goodbyes, and they sealed the tomb. But then they witnessed Him beat death.

This day stands as a symbol of the resurrection that can happen in all of us if we choose to follow Him! Life within us overflowing into the world around us, because of Jesus!

Happy Easter! There is Hope, there is life, there is Jesus who is Risen!

Hi! I'm Lainey!

Welcome to my page, whether you're a seasoned follower or a newbie, I'm glad you're here!

I am a documentary style, artistic photographer, based on Columbia SC. I have been running my own business since 2021, and it has been a wild ride.

Some things that you are probably asking:

Do you just do weddings?
I LOVE family portraits. I have children of my own and family pictures are a part of my heart. I specialize in weddings and engagements, but love to branch out.

Will I have fun on my session? ABSOLUTELY. I wish I could tell you how much fun we will have! Music, fun prompts, laughing, good conversation - the fun'll be had.

Lainey, what is something I should know about you? (You're probably not asking this but it's fun for me to answer) I love Gordon Ramsey (Yes, my husband knows). Mostly I just love cooking, but I am a GR show fan.

Last but not least, Lainey. If you could be any kind of cheese, what would it be and why?
Well, that's a great question. I don't know why you're asking, but since you are, I would probably be Swiss, because it's holy... And I love Jesus, so. I want to be holy too. (Get it?)

It's these facial expressions that are getting me. I have shot a lot more family photos this year than weddings or engagements, which is pretty unusual for me. But what I love about it, is that there is just something that kids bring out in parents and families that you don't get anywhere else, in any other photos! I love to see the way these mamas love on their babies, and how the kids love to abuse their dads (😂).

These photos are putting me in a sweet Christmas mood.
