I try my best to be a girly-girl and keep up with my nails, my eyebrows, and even the mustache my momma gave me, but I was raised with 4 brothers and I'm more of a t-shirt and no-bra kinda girl. Like any great “pinterester”, I love trying new recipes and have many DIY projects that I'll probably never finish. On Sundays, you'll find me waking up just in time for brunch as I desperately search for my glasses and try to get oriented. "Where's my phone?"

I enjoy working with romantic, fun and quirky people. I might ask you to grab your partner's butt. I might ask you to tell them a couple of reasons you admire them. I may even ask you to dance. During a romantic getaway in Rome, In their cozy hotel room with a stunning window view of the lively streets below. In the heart of Austin, at the renowned , TJ and Madi had their first real-life meeting. Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, they had connected online and the coffee date seemed like the perfect first in-person encounter.
Just as TJ was preparing to meet Madi, he received a call from her. Expecting a cancellation, he was surprised when she asked for a ride due to a dead car battery. He gladly agreed, puzzled when she arrived with a laptop and backpack.
Unconventionally, Madi, an intern knee implant engineer, had a work meeting that day. So, their date unfolded amidst a virtual meeting, engaging conversation, and shared laughter. Despite the unusual setup, the date was a hit, even when Madi had to briefly attend to her meeting.
Months later, they both fondly remembered the instant connection they felt on that first date. The drive home was marked by the rhythm of ‘Can I Call You Tonight’ by Dayglow, one of Madi’s favorites.

🥧 The pandemic’s unique social distancing norms played a curious role in bringing Lauren and Gary together. It all happened at an outdoor gathering hosted by their mutual friend. Lauren was instantly captivated by Gary’s culinary prowess, especially his exquisite lemon meringue pie, a personal favorite of hers. Conversation flowed naturally, fueled by their shared love for cooking.
☕️ As the day drew to a close, their friend, perhaps emboldened by a touch of too much wine, blurted out a suggestion that made Lauren blush: “You two should get coffee!”. Gary, seized the opportunity and charmed his way into getting her phone number. Later, she discovered that the mutual friend had orchestrated the entire encounter.
🏡 Initial dates were sweet but slightly awkward, limited to outdoor settings due to pandemic precautions. Finally, Gary, taking a bold step, proposed a COVID test followed by a dinner date – inside his house! This marked a turning point. Two years later, on the same weekend Gary popped the question.
💒 The pandemic may have forced an unconventional start, but for Lauren and Gary, it ultimately laid the groundwork for a love story as delicious as Gary’s renowned lemon meringue pie.
Stories like this make me giddy with excitement so I’m looking forward to their wedding at Springdale Station later this year!!
I’ve rewritten this caption several times because I can’t find the words to describe my excitement for these two. This journey is so special and I can’t wait to see them write their next chapter as a family.
I’m back from a 2 week vacation in and I’m currently in the “Can we buy a house there?” part of my post vacation blues. We ate soul-healing from a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, melt-in-your-mouth pillowy mochi from 7-Eleven and cloud-like soufflé pancakes that went viral on TikTok. I left my tears on the floor of the museum, admired the beautiful architecture at Castle, and steeped in an in the mountains of but what really captivated me was observing the shared consideration among strangers, the immense amount of trust in the community and always feeling oh so clean (IYKYK, If you don’t – their bidets are *very* welcoming).
We’re only 2 days away from our ✨ two-week adventure to Japan! ✨ The last time we were on an out-of-country vacation was pre-baby so of course I’m a nervous wreck but am looking forward to exploring bustling Tokyo, savoring the street food scene, and getting lost in the serene bamboo forests of Kyoto. I’ll be devouring sushi and deciphering train schedules in Japanese. And fear not, I’ll be sharing my adventures through Instagram stories. You’ll get a front-row seat to everything the cuisine, the quirky cafes, and the ancient temples. Brace yourselves for a photo overload on my stories!

Jaren and Caroline's wedding was the epitome of warmth and family. Cole and Lauren's wedding was a celebration of love and togetherness. It was a day when they were surrounded by their friends and family, all dressed to the nines and looking their best. AS A PHOTOGRAPHER: My focus is to capture your story and personality. Traditional wedding photography has a reputation of being very static and overly-posed -- this is not my style. I enjoy working with romantic, fun and quirky people. Weddings are stressful! -- That is exactly what SHE said. My goal is to turn busy, messy, and distracting into simple, elegant and beautiful. I put artistry in my images as opposed to just snapping pictures. That's the difference between a high-end operation and some Joe Shmoe with a fancy camera.
