Mother's Day is such a great day... and NOT necessarily because I am a mother.
But because I get to work with other women's children. What a joy it is to be around these pure and wonderful souls.

Yesterday, I climbed to the top of a playground and did cartwheels through the grass with a couple dozen 8 year olds.
Today, I took the had of a 3 year old and sang her favorite song.
Later, I performed as myself, and was nervous (it is so much easier when I am a character)! I looked out as a talented group of preteens cheered my on and hugged me afterward- even though I was a stranger.

I get to see YOUR hard work through these amazing humans.
I can see glimpses of- not only the goodness and values you teach them- but also the struggles that families have when raising kids with different personalities. I see the love and patience you have for them, because that is how they treat us as characters.

I truly love each of your children, and try to pick actors who have those same instincts- because I want each of them to know that they are loved by their favorite characters.

Thank you moms, aunts, and friends for the positive and amazing influence you bring to this world through your interactions with the children around you. And thank you for sharing them with myself and my amazing cast. Thank you for the sacrifices you make each an every day. Truly, women are the most beautiful force in this world, and I am proud to be counted among each of you.

Camp was (as usual) wonderful today. Thank you for those who brought your kids! We had the best time!
I had a rough night last night with a client whose husband bullied me. I was up all night- feeling very heartbroken, dejected, and even a little scared about today.
Your children healed my heart.
One of the girls was completely non-aggressive at the egg hunt and literally got no eggs. I was there as I saw her face fall- and she started to cry.
One by one, many of the kids filled her bag with their eggs. Even those with less eggs were giving generously until her bag was overflowing- and still these wonderful children were trying to put more eggs in her bag.
As adults, I hope we can learn from our children. I certainly feel their magic each time I invite them to my home. I want you to know that each time you support my business, you are filling my "bag of eggs" (lol-horrible analogy!). But really, thank you for the wonderful day we were able to spend with each of your kids! XOXO!

One of my favorite parts about Cinderella parties is having the kids try on Cinderella's glass slipper.
It is the little things that make these encounters so magical.
We hope the kids want to try it on at The Easter Egg Hunt and Tea Party on 3/29! We haven't had Cinderella at camp for a while!

I was chatting with a client today about creepy Easter Bunnies.
Let's just say. all Easter Bunnies are not created equal.
Our rabbit is cute, friendly, and our actors and actresses who play the Easter Bunny are background checked for your child's safety.
And although not all kids will love the Easter Bunny, at least you know what you are getting.
Your child can meet the Easter Bunny and get photos at our Princess Easter Egg Hunt and Tea Party. We hope you will join us!

For the Easter Egg Hunt and Tea Party this year, the kids will be decorating these Elsa Music Boxes. They are seriously so cute... and I definitely outdid myself this year! LOL!
It is on 3/29, and we have a lot of slots in both the 11:00 and 1:00 camps.

I always think it is so funny when we have a villain at a party and there is one kid who LOVES them. I mean, is obsessed. This kid just wants to be a little minion or something- I get a feeling they are thinking- "finally! Someone I can relate to!!". This is the same kid who wants Pennywise face paint.
Who will YOUR kid want to see the most at the Princess & Villian Ball? A princess or a villain? (Hint: If your little princess has decided to dress like Freddy Kruger for halloween, they are this kid). LOL!
P.S. Don't worry, we will not be having Freddy or Pennywise at the Ball.

So... I have a serious question.
I background check ALL of my performers. This is so important to me. The safety of EVERY child we meet is important. I spend a lot of money every year running background checks.

I feel like people don't care. Oftentimes (and I realize this demographic of people usually aren't my clientele) they just want cheap. Meaning. Any person in a costume is fine. ANY PERSON!!!

It just creeps me out that people will invite anyone into not only their homes, but their kids lives!!
Truly. What is more important to you: Cost or background checks?

How would you feel if you found pout there were characters at your child's friends birthday party, school, or other public event who were not background checked? It really seems people don't care.
