We are looking for an East River Partner to join the Freeborn Entertainment team.

After 20 years of building and developing in the Black Hills area, we are opening a location in the Sioux Falls area providing we can find an amazing managing partner and some great talent.

We focus on being people and service oriented in everything we do including
Karaoke Shows for singers,
Open Mic Shows for songwriters,
Wedding DJ services for talented personalities and
Booking services so we can help build up everyone in the industry.

One of our core values is to collaborate and not to compete with like minded entertainers while building something that benefits all who choose to be involved.

We're always keeping an eye out for new talent. Anyone interested in everything from simple Karaoke shows to DJing Weddings and other events or musicians wanting some simple shows to play and expand their personal brand.

We're open to any talent that is serious about their entertainment career. For more info, send a DM. You can also tag your talented friends so they can decide if they'd like to collaborate on their own.

We can provide equipment, simple marketing and training where necessary. Honestly we're just happy to get to work with some great people.

If you're a quieter singer, you need the mic as close as possible to your face. If your a louder singer, you need to start close and pull away til you find a comfortable, non distorted placement. Sing into the top of the mic, not the sides. Yes you should play with mic technique, but it should be for a sound, not to look cool. DON'T EVER DROP A MIC YOU DIDN'T PAY FOR!!!! Most hosts invest most of their profits into equipment so everyone can have a good time.
