Take a look at our recent video we produced for Fibertech Plastics. One of the best ways to connect with your customers is to truly care about their impact in our communities.
Captivated Content is a video and content marketing company based in Southern Indiana.
Take a look at our recent video we produced for Fibertech Plastics. One of the best ways to connect with your customers is to truly care about their impact in our communities.
Repurposing content is one of the best ways to get the most out of your marketing.
During our recent podcast episode, we went on a little tangent about the type of videos that not only work well with sales events like a Black Friday Cyber Monday sales event, but certain style videos do better for organic and evergreen ads as well.
Filming 15-20 or even 6-8 direct to camera (person on camera talking to the audience) ads have proven to be one of our most effective video marketing strategies.
Partner those videos with engaging editing from our awesome editor, Mason Wassmer and you get an effective variety of content to push your brand and sales event forward.
And of course a technical tip is to film with the goal of editing in different aspect ratios that work for different social and online platforms.
We were up bright and early this week filming a product knowledge video.
Yes, we filmed in Menards!
It's Halloween season and what could be scarier than being on camera?
Casey faces his own fear of being on camera and gives 3 short tips on how you can get a tad bit more comfortable in front of the lens.
We had some fun working with our friends at Fibertech Plastics on a new video featuring one of their core services and how it helps .
Being able to tie the work you do into a greater purpose is always a good way to market and grow your business. But it only works if it is authentic and Fibertech's team is as authentic as you can get!
We are back at it again with our friends at Parcil Safety filming for their Black Friday and Cyber Weekend Sales Event.
If you're a retailer or e-commerce brand, it's time to start thinking about your own Black Friday and Cyber Weekend sales event.

🌟September Spotlight🌟
Meet Caleb Hiatt, Welder/Fabricator for our Custom Fabrication team. Caleb found his way to Nix through the Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center, ditching the college route to master the craft of welding, while earning a solid paycheck without a mountain of student loans.
Watch Caleb’s spotlight to see college isn't the only path to a great career!
Meet more of our team members at https://www.nixmetals.com/team-member-spotlight-sep2023/
Take a look at our latest Team Member Spotlight for NIX! Video can be used in a variety of ways and a consistent series of videos like team member spotlights not only help your company line up top talent, but it also markets what type of company you are to your target customers.
Last night, a couple of our team members attended the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership annual dinner.
We had a lot of fun networking and learning about the future of our riverfronts running from Mt. Vernon through downtown Evansville to downtown Newburgh.
But one of the best moments from last night was getting to watch the 3 awards videos we produced for the dinner.
Thank you to the E-REP team for putting on a great evening and allowing us the opportunity to participate with our craft!
Earlier this year we posted some behind the scenes of a series of videos we were working on with Shoe Carnival. We are excited and proud to share the initial videos have gone live!
When you think about Shoe Carnival, you may just think that they are a retail company. But in our local community as well as the communities they operate across the US, they provide so much more impact than just being another store.
They give back to their communities through charity. They provide countless of jobs and career opportunities. And as we worked closely with various team members, you can tell that they truly do care about the people and families that call Shoe Carnival home. And those individuals we did interact with, they each have their own passions for the work they do. Whether it's helping a kid find the right shoe for back to school or an HR manager helping a new team member find their career path, you can be certain that each person has their fellow co-worker or customer's best interest at heart.
Take a look at the Shoe Carnival Culture video below or visit https://careers.shoecarnival.com to see some of the other videos we produced for then. If you're looking for a fun and family-oriented career, definitely check out some of their job openings!
With Shoe Carnival having multiple areas for potential employees to join the company, we collaborated on making videos that attract different employees for different jobs including retail, distribution, and corporate.
Shout out to our lead videographer and Director of Photography, Alex!
He was running around all day yesterday filming for a tight deadline project after being out of town on a project on Monday and Tuesday.
Our team has been having some fun at FabTech in Chicago this week!
We filmed some podcasts with MakingChips at the ProFab Alliance booth and we are enjoying meeting various people in the fabrication industry!
Our team was out and about filming for Evansville Regional Economic Partnership today. We love getting to tell businesses' and organizations' stories that help shape our region!
As always, we are excited to let you all see the finished videos in a few weeks!
Last week we welcomed the team from Socket Shield into our studio to film some bulk content that will help amplify their online presence while also improving their listings on Amazon with videos that answer frequently asked questions.

We've said it before and we'll say it again. Video is a great way to share your culture and growth opportunities with potential new team members.
We recently produced 3 different videos for Evolv. One of those videos was reusing the interviews and footage we filmed for a branding video and re-edit them to help them with recruiting. We did ask some recruitment-based questions during the original video shoot that helped us put this story together.
One of the best ways to get the most out of your video marketing is to repurpose footage in different ways.
We recently did a video for Indiana Body Works. We've mentioned it before, but an About Us or Who We Are video is a great first video to start with to see how your customers and followers react. Sharing who you are allows potential customers to understand why you're the right fit for their needs.

How do you use video in your business? Do you use it internally for training? Do you use it externally for marketing? Do you use it to recruit? Do you use it to communicate better?
Embracing video as an organization is a mindset. It doesn't just include professional videos, but also quick DIY videos. Try supplementing a report with a quick screen record video breaking down the report. Or try hopping on a video for your next social media posting.
People enjoy sight and sound. They enjoy getting a feeling when they watch a video.
We believe that video isn't always just a "nice-to-have" in business. It's becoming more of a "need-to-have." Video is great in communicating effectively and creatively while also being efficient.
Keep your customers or employees engaged. Start implementing video.
New team headshots! We thought it was about time to make ourselves look good!
We started working on the edit for Pearison, Inc. this week so naturally we wanted to share some screengrabs from the project!
Captivated Content sponsored hole #3 at the Posey County Young Life golf outing yesterday.
This was one of the first sponsorships we did over 3 years ago and have enjoyed being a part of the fun and giving back each year.
Yesterday we had the chance to work with Pearison Inc. on a few new recruitment videos. We had so many genuine responses from team members who really love what they do and love where they work.
If you have a great culture, a great team, and great management, sharing all three with video is a great way to build a pipeline of future team members.
Our last Staff Spotlight of the 2022-2023 school year for MSD of North Posey. Take a listen to what makes Jon so passionate about the school system and why he takes his job seriously.
It's been a great year producing over 10 different videos for North Posey and they are a great example of an organization that understands the benefits of consistent content marketing. Featuring team members, programs, and valuable information on a regular basis has helped them keep their community and students engaged online.
The Awareness Stage is such an important stage in the buyer's journey. Whether you're a B2B manufacturing company or a direct to consumer e-commerce company, being able to capture potential leads in the awareness stage is crucial to your overall marketing strategy as well as your video marketing strategy.
When we partner with businesses, we focus on videos the create awareness, provide value, and entertain while connecting with the right audience. Each video should work in one of the main stages of the buyer or recruitment journey (Awareness Stage, Consideration Stage, Decision Stage, or Post-sales stage).
Read more about creating effective marketing videos for the awareness stage at https://www.captivatedcontent.com/post/creating-effective-marketing-videos-for-the-awareness-stage-of-the-buyer-s-journey
Our crew continues to stay busy. From filming with dogs, to talking about onboarding team members, to giving some tips and tricks for your pool covers, we worked on a variety of projects this past week with Vanderburgh Humane Society, Traylor Construction Group, and Anchor Industries.

Take a look at a recent video we did for Emergency Radio Service, Inc.. Their team upgraded Seymour Community Schools with new digital radios that improved school safety, communication, and response times.
We all know the importance to keeping our children safe and this video not only brings awareness to the importance of your radio system, but also showcases some benefits of a having a system that is reliable and reaches areas they need it to reach.
From a marketing standpoint, one of the best ways to share the power of your product is to let stories like these shine.

Most metal fabrication shop owners and managers know all about chaos on the shop floor. Indiana-based ProFab (Progressive Fabricator) Alliance would like to make chaos the exception, not the rule, by uniting fabricators under an industry group of a shared management system and philosophy.
Can you guess what holiday sales event we were filming for with Parcil Safety today?
on this Star Wars Day. Take a look at a video we made for Parcil Safety a few years ago!
Day 2 of working with Evolv means free yummy coffee! We are creating a video that tells their unique story and showcases their fun culture.
We love doing culture-based video marketing. When you let your businesses culture shine through, you are able to connect with potential customers and team members better.
If you're in an industry that isn't taking advantage of video, these videos can also help you stand out.
Day 1 of a 2-day video shoot with Evolv and VIV! We don't want to share too many details (let's keep it a surprise for when the video releases), but we had a blast getting to hear about their growth over the last 25 years.
You can really feel their team's passion for the merchant services industry! They uniquely use digital solutions combined with payment processing solutions to help small and large businesses be able to do what they do best - provide products and services to their customers - while having a trusted partner in Evolv that can take care of the backend.
One of our favorite things about doing videos like these is the opportunity to learn and industry leaders and meet hardworking individuals.
We're excited to wrap the filming up and knock out the edits!

This week we have been busy in our studio and office knocking out edits and filming our first partnership video podcast.
Video Podcasts are a great way to film multiple pieces of content in one sitting. You're able to share the entire episode on podcast and video platforms while also using small "knowledge nuggets" as videos on your other social media platforms.
When organizations like MSD of North Posey emphasize professional development days, you can be assured that your students are being taken care of by faculty and staff with the most up-to-date and impactful teaching techniques.
We had fun producing this video while learning about the collaboration that these days provide teachers across the 4 schools. Support team members also benefit from these days which allow them to learn better ways to assist students, parents, and community members.
Take a watch!
Out and about again. This week we spent some time with NIX filming for an upcoming short series that we know you'll be excited about!
Thank you to Fibertech Plastics and Habitat for Humanity of Evansville for trusting and allowing us to produce this video.
We know it is a little inconvenient when a video person is floating around on volunteer days, but everyone was so helpful!
Most importantly, thank you for letting us be a part of telling this story that will hopefully inspire and motivate other businesses and individuals to get involved with our local communities!
Our team continued to work on a recruitment video project for Shoe Carnival the last two days. We hung out at their Distribution Center yesterday and their Evansville Corporate office today.
We have just a few more pickup shots and then we will get to finalize these videos in post! We can't wait to wrap these up and share them in the future.
We had some fun filming for an upcoming sales event for a mattress topper from a company based out of Charlotte, NC.
For this project, the client shipped their product to us, our digital marketing analyst researched to find out what type of spots resonate with their customers on which platforms, and then our creative team produced 8-10 vertical ads that will be used to help promote the sale.
If you're an e-commerce brand looking for a data-driven video marketing firm who can create your ads and place them in the right place for the right audience, we want to hear from you! Visit https://www.captivatedcontent.com/start-a-project to get the conversation started!
Our team is in Charlotte this week filming for Shoe Carnival. We are working on a multi-video project to help with recruitment and to share their culture.
Take a look at some behind the scenes!
Last week, we had the opportunity to begin a project with Indiana Body Works. One of our anchor videos when working with new companies is to develop an About Us video.
These videos are a great way to share a company's story while also giving potential customers a feel for the way the company works. You can use about us videos in a variety of ways including on your website for those who like to learn about a company through video rather than text. These type of videos are also great for social media to create some buzz - especially when re-branding or launching a new website. Another great way to use an about us video is to create smaller videos that you can use on social or as ads to help drive traffic to your website and business location.

Part of our crew was in Birmingham, AL this week to kickoff filming for a new recruitment project.
We will also be filming near Charlotte, NC and in Evansville, IN for this project. We are excited to let culture shine through from each location while also keeping the overall company culture together throughout each video.
New work alert! Take a look at this recent video we produced for Enviroplas, Inc.. When you think of a plastics, you think of resins and pellets, but what is just as important to the products they make is Enviroplas' materials management.

The first episode is dropping THIS FRIDAY at 10:00AM. It'll be a whopping 55 minutes of pure twin marketing talk.

#throwbackthursday on this Star Wars Day. Take a look at a video we made for Parcil Safety a few years ago! #maythe4thbewithyou
We recently produced 15+ videos for our friends at Parcil Safety in a 1/2 day video shoot. How did we do that? We simplified the production and focused on content. We used one set up, a few topics, and then coached the client on delivery. The few topics allowed us to create sub-topics to use. About 5 of the videos were sales ad specific while the rest were infotainment type videos that bring value to their ideal customers. This type of video shoot allows ecommerce and service-based companies the ability to produce the amount of content needed to stay relevant on social media and online. Using these videos partnered with more targeted video marketing can help you reach your audience at different stages of the buyers journey. If you're interested in this type of video series or similar video marketing services visit https://www.captivatedcontent.com/start-a-project and we'd love to talk to you! PS stick around for the last part of this video!
Sometimes you get creative inspiration from real use scenarios. Parcil Safety's CEO has been wearing one of their tinted full face respirators all spring and summer while mowing his lawn. He said his typical allergies such as his itchy eyes, scratchy throat, and stuffy nose have gone away, allowing him to sleep and breath better. The Parcil Safety team knew that they wanted to focus the creative around this scenario so we worked closely together to finalize scripts and make the edits compelling. We also wanted to get the point across that their masks can be used in every day situations such as mowing your lawn. We created a few different variations for them to use and test against each other, but here are two. One with a focus more about grabbing the viewers attention while the other is more about educating the viewer in a silly way.
How does a world class B2B manufacturing company, who historically hasn't done much outward branding and marketing, increase their brand awareness? By sharing their story through their people! We recently finished up a couple of videos and helped work on imagery for ENVIROPLAS®, Inc. website. We wanted to focus most of our creative on their world class team and atmosphere. Learn more about our work with Enviroplas at https://www.captivatedcontent.com/enviroplas
We produced a series of videos for the Southwest Indiana SBDC featuring success stories of different businesses that have worked with them. Here is one on Pat Coslett's Simplicity Furniture. Read more about how Southwest Indiana SBDC helped Simplicity furniture at https://www.evansvilleregion.com/news/entrepreneurship-innovation/pursue-your-dream-in-the-evansville-region/?fbclid=IwAR1b7uBZCrtYV1tg6Noqv3_NZqRa8H8-hLCNd09B51zkH9hn0_c1oSpycaE
Let's talk about influencers and user generated content and how you can use both to make anchor videos for your brand. Using influencers often gives you the opportunity to use user generated content in your video marketing without doing too much extra production work. Sometimes you can combine both your internal production with influencer and user generated content to produce a video that gives social proof and brand awareness at the same time such as the video below that we helped produce for Parcil Safety using their influencer's content.
Did you know we offer social media marketing services? We take a little different approach when it comes to being social online. We help bring an improved professional yet personal presence through video and graphic design. We also believe social media marketing is a collaborative process so we work closely with your team to ensure you are posting DIY posts that have a more personal feel along with the graphic design and videos we offer.
We recently completed a video for our friends at US Weight! You might notice some local businesses and locations! We work with many e-commerce brands by helping them create a library of content to use throughout their sales funnels. Some of these are product videos for online listings while others are ads to gather viewers attentions.
Here is a fun ad we produced for Parcil Safety. Our goal with their team is to help them build a content library so they can quickly create online ads to test and drive traffic to their product listings. This particular ad was produced to shine a different light on how real customers were using their masks. We actually changed the feel of this ad just by changing the music. We initially wanted it to be more cinematic, but quickly found out that Parcil's brand voice is more quirky so we chose a quirky soundtrack. Standing out from your competitors means doing things differently. In Parcil's case, their competitors are typically more serious so we decided to take a less serious approach and just let their reviews do the talking.
Southern Indiana Businesses! Recruiting at this time is hard. What if we told you that there could be a way where you can stand out among competitors that are going after the same talent you are? If you're an Evansville, Posey County, Warrick County, Gibson County, or surrounding area business that has a strong culture then video might be the perfect fit to fill your recruitment funnel with top talent. We can customize different types of videos to help you attract new talent, retain current team members, and engage your community to help you find the right candidates for your culture. Learn more at https://www.captivatedcontent.com/recruitment-video
For many of us, we want to describe everything our company can do in one video. But you can be more targeted with your message and speak directly to who can benefit from your video if you create individual videos for different services and products. For example, we produced this video for Koberstein Contracting in Evansville, IN to go into more detail about what it is like working with them on utilities projects. Not only does this video speak to the customer service and the type of utility work that Koberstein can offer, it also has a personal appeal showing that they understand how important this type of work is to our local communities.
Being kids at heart, we enjoyed getting to produce some new content for Woodplay Playsets. Take a look at one of the spots below and learn more about our product video work with them at https://www.captivatedcontent.com/woodplay-playsets
We recently completed this testimonial video for Emergency Radio Service, Inc. focusing on how they partner with education systems to help keep schools safe. Authentic testimonials go such a long way in building trust with your customers. Learn more about our work with ERS Wireless at https://www.captivatedcontent.com/ers-wireless.
Recruitment is a hot topic right now. Video is a great way to land quality employment leads and consistent culture-based video is a great way to create excitement around your organization so that you are top of mind when it comes to top talent in the area. We offer many recruitment video solutions from position specific recruitment videos, culture videos, and our popular employee spotlight type videos where your current team members help connect with potential employees. Take a look at this recruitment video we created for Rexing Companies below. And view some employee spotlights we've done for companies like NIX at https://www.captivatedcontent.com/nix-video-marketing
Happy Star Wars Day! We turned this quick spot around for Parcil Safety to use on their digital platforms. During a creative meeting, we noticed that one of their customers left a review saying he loved the way his respirator made him sound like Darth Vador. With that as inspiration, we quickly produced this spot so that the team could use it this week! #maythe4thbewithyou
We recently completed a video for Fit Tight Covers, a manufacturer of removable and reusable thermal insulation covers for commercial and industrial mechanical piping and equipment. The team at Fit Tight Covers was awesome to work with and their facility is top-notch. We're always looking to partner with more local and regional manufacturing businesses who wish to share their story and use video to bring value to customers a long the buyers journey. Learn more about our video plans at https://www.captivatedcontent.com/our-process
To start the new year, we had the opportunity to produce two videos for our friends at Thrive Marketing Strategies. Working with Alissa and her team, we came up with 2 different videos. One was a testimonial video told by a couple of her clients while the other really gets to the essence and passion that Thrive's team has for helping businesses grow. We are lucky to be able to work with Thrive and they are truly making a difference in our community. Take a look at the work we did with them at https://www.captivatedcontent.com/thrive-marketing-strategies
We are proud to work with many heavy industrial, manufacturing, service, and construction businesses in our area.
