Kristin + Jawad
11-9-24

And just like that, my 2024 wedding season has come to a close. This year was a good one, and Kristin and Jawad's wedding kinda provided a perfect end cap. Many years ago, I met Kristin's mom, Laura, at the chiropractor's office I used to go to when my kids were little. So it was super special when they reached out to me to photograph Kristin and Jawad's wedding. We started out at the one and only Lake Winola, where the Webster's have a house that has been in the family for many years. We made use of the old structures and "the point," as in the actual point of the entire lake. While I have seen it from boats and across the lake, I never knew it was literally part of someone's property. We even got to go out on a boat. After photos, everyone hopped on the bus and headed over to The Ridge by Constantino's Catering at Maiolatesi Wine Cellars for their ceremony and reception. There were sweet words shared by so many friends and family, amazing food, a dessert bar, and so much dancing. Congrats, you guys! You are surrounded by so many wonderful people.

Alyssa and Chris are getting married at Blue Mountain Resort in 2025. After throwing a few location options around for their engagement shoot, we decided to stick close to the resort, and utilize some of the secret spots I know. The Appalachian Trail runs right behind the resort, and along the top of the ridge of the mountain. It is a place I love and frequent often and is a place I love to share with others whenever I can. Our day was one of the first chilly fall ones, the leaves were on point, and the resort was basically vacant in prepping for it's next big seasonal shift. Which equaled...perfection for us. I cannot wait to capture your big day for you both next year up at Blue. Thanks for taking a stroll through the woods with me!

09-28-24

Alison and Evan live in the Lehigh Valley, kinda crazy, that we found out we are basically neighbors, while I was photographing their wedding, up in Wayne County! I love how small and connected this world we live in really is. Alison and Evan started their day at Ledges Hotel, a little historic hotel, tucked away next to Paupack Falls. It is one of the spaces that was once a part of the Hawley Silk Mill many years ago. While these buildings date all the way back to the 1880's, they remain a vital part of the Pocono region's rich community today and make a beautiful backdrop for a wedding. In combination with The Settlers Inn, Alison and Evan's wedding day turned out perfect, even with the good luck rain fall. We made it work, as we always do. Congrats you guys! It was so special to get to spend the day with you and your families!!!

Kelsey and Colin had the most beautifully epic wedding day ever. Their day started at the one and only Fox Hill Farm, where Katherine and George Brown's family farm provided a beautiful fall backdrop. While Kelsey and the girls got ready in the bridal cottage, Colin and his bridal people hung out in the fox den. Their first look was followed up with some wandering around the farm for photos before their ceremony took place next to the pond. Kelsey and Colin, along with their friends and family enjoyed cocktail hour in the gardens before everyone loaded the big yellow school bus and headed down to 6th & River for the reception and dinner. Kelsey and Colin love the outdoors, and plants, and flowers, and trees. They love adventure. And I think that their day perfectly embodied the many things that Kelsey and Colin are. It was such a gift to be back at Fox Hill Farms and to capture the connection these two share. ❤❤❤

Shannon and Mark had a super full wedding day. They spent the morning getting ready at Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel Scranton in downtown Scranton with their friends and family. Then they headed over to their ceremony at the Madonna Della Strada Chapel. Since Shannon and Mark met during their time at the University of Scranton, this was super meaningful on many levels. After their ceremony everyone headed out to the Scranton Country Club to party the rest of the night. Congrats to you both!! It was an honor to capture your special day with you!!!

Kelsey and Colin are getting hitched at the one and only Fox Hill Farm and celebrating at the (also) one and only 6th & River!!! So that fact that I will get to see and work with both Katherine and Amanda, is such a fun double bonus! Immediately upon meeting Kelsey and Colin, it became clear that they seriously picked the perfect for them vendors. The theme was relaxed, chill, go with the flow, and be submerged in nature. Since they live in New Jersey, but have a home base at Colin's grandparents home in the Poconos, we decided to meet up at Hickory Run State Park for an impromptu engagement session. We meandered around the park to some of my favorite places and spaces and I got to capture just how adorable they are together. I cannot wait to spend your big day with you guys in a few weeks!!! We're going to have a blast!!!

Jill + Mike
7-28-2024

Jill and Mike eloped to one of their absolute favorite places, the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. These two are both athletes, go-getters, and just all around really good people. We have woven in and out of each others lives, from trail races, ultra marathons, cross-fit competitions back in the day, and ADK hikes and runs. To get to be with them and capture their big day, with them, was a gift. Jill and Mike had a very small ceremony, overlooking the Cascade Lakes, surrounded by both of their parents, and officiated by a good friend. Their gathering was small and intimate, with no one in sight, exactly what they wanted. After their vows, we drove up the Whiteface Auto Road, and hiked the stairs up to the summit, where we got to get creative and soak up the beauty of being in the Adirondack Mountains to the fullest. Thank you Jill and Mike, you two are the best. Seriously. ❤❤❤

Bleigh + Chris
6-22-24

Bleigh and Chris had just about the hottest weather imaginable for their wedding this past Saturday. We had someone drive us to a couple of photo spots, so they could keep cool, but it was honestly just too hot to be outside for much longer then a few minutes. They were troopers though, and I know they will appreciate having the photos in the long run. Bear Creek Mountain Resort did a fantastic job keeping everyone situated and as comfortable as possible in the heat. After their outdoor ceremony, Bleigh and Chris partied and danced the night away. Thank you so much for having me be a part of your special day, at one of my favorite wedding venues, the one I like to call "home". You guys are two very special people.

Holly + Dan
6-8-24

Holly and Dan got married this past weekend at the Townley House, in downtown Easton, Pennsylvania. The Townley House is a micro boutique wedding venue, complete with it's own speakeasy. This was my first time photographing at this venue and to say I am obsessed, would be an understatement. Every nook and cranny of the property offers nothing short of aesthetic perfection. We utilized the front of the building for Holly and Dan's first look, then meandered around the property for their portraits. After tying the knot in the courtyard out back, the area was flipped from ceremony space to dining space complete with beautiful long farmhouse tables. The food was perfect, the weather was perfect, the flowers were perfect...every detail was perfect. The only thing missing was their sweet pup, Caymus, however, there were cocktail napkins complete with their pup's face on it. Congrats you two! Thank you so much for having me capture your special day for you!!

Karyll and Max tied the knot last weekend at Memorytown, a beautiful farm venue nestled deep in the Poconos. And while yes, it was their wedding day, it also was their Bernadoodle, Mr. Monte's first birthday! So, naturally, he got to invite some of his friends to the party too! I hear he even got "Happy Birthday" sung to him after the ceremony. Karyll and Max exchanged their vows privately in the orchard, just the two of them. Then they joined their wedding party over by the lake, and the rest of their family under the canopy of trees by the ceremony site. Afterwards, everyone meandered over to the barn for good food and lots of dancing. Congrats to Karyll and Max and Monte!

If you or anyone you know is getting ready to tie the knot, send them my way. I am booking through 2025 now!

Cassandra and David got married at the one and only 6th & River, a beautiful rustic venue located in an old restored industrial building in downtown Honesdale, Pennsylvania. Together, with David's son and daughter by their side, they tied the knot surrounded by family and friends. A special moment involved a blending ceremony with the children, where they all took turns pouring different colored sand into one container, representing the creation of a new life chapter together. Congrats to you two, and cheers to many happy days together!

The story, the history, and the friendship that have been born from New Leaf Farm - Barn Weddings & Events over the years is unmatched. It is a very special place. The venue itself is amazing in all of it's beautiful wild-ness, tucked between the mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania as it is. However, to get to be the there the one weekend the owners let the buttercups stay in full effect, was a perfect touch. After dinner, Mollee and Edward got a very special opportunity to go into the fields, with the horses and donkey, for photos. It takes the right situation, and the right people, and the right personalities to be able to click for that to happen. Amanda and Jeff, thank you for trusting me to get in there with your farm animals. Mollee and Edward, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day and the connection you two share, and for your willingness to get creative. Congrats on your special day.

Olivia + Taylor
5-25-24

This past weekend was another trip up to Blue Mountain Resort for Olivia and Taylor's wedding day. They got ready downtown in Jim Thorpe, then shuttled over to the mountain. Their day was ALL sun, a sharp contrast from the weekend prior, and it was beautiful. We started at the overlook for their first look, then meandered around a bit for their photos. I always try my best to give my clients unique photo opportunities, rather than just repeat the same photos at the same locations. A big part of that is being in the moment and staying aware of how the light hits an area, changing up an angle, or finding a way to make a spot new or different by shooting through some foliage. I don't think Olivia and Taylor's wedding could have been any more beautiful. From the weather, to their friends and family, to the bond they share. It was an honor to capture.

Melissa and Casey's wedding is one for the archives that's for sure! So much so, that I decided to post a top 13 (my fav number), rather than my usual top 5. This was the first wedding that I have photographed, where the bride requested her wedding to remain outdoors, when the black storm clouds rolled in. And it was EPIC. Umbrellas, wet seats, soaked feet...and the best part, SO many smiling faces. From a photographic perspective...it really doesn't get much better than this. It shows who they really are. Unique, fun, adventurous people who clearly aren't afraid to get their feet wet and be who they are...together. One of my favorite sayings is, "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain." That basically sums it up. Thank you Melissa and Casey for proving a first for me after 10 years of photographing weddings. I've dealt with rain, but never to this degree!! Thank you to Blue Mountain Resort as well. You guys really have the best wedding team up there!

Barbora and Bill live in Wyoming, and met working together in Scranton years ago. They were a fun revisit from the pandemic. So even though Barbora and Bill had already gotten married a couple years ago, they decided that since they still had a down payment sitting on The Barn at Glistening Pond, they might as well throw a big party and celebrate with their friends and family in the area. When they reached out several months ago and I was already booked for the date they picked, I was thrilled to be able to offer them my Associate Photographer Package. Barbora started with her girls at The Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel Scranton and met up with Bill and the guys at the venue. They had a day filled with friends and family and from the photos, seem like they all had an amazing time partying in the barn! Thank you Nicole for being an amazing second and lead associate photographer. Wedding work is way more fun with you along for the ride. And congrats Barbora and Bill, I am glad you got your party after all!

Kai and Theresa are referral from a wedding I photographed last fall. Theresa was in the bridal party. She got to see how I work and interact in real time with the guests and my clients. This is one of my FAVORITE things, because it means, they liked what they saw; liked my work ethic; and appreciated my personality on the job. To me it says, I am doing a good job. So, thank you!

Their engagement session was my first of the season, and they were pure magic together. When there are two people who just click, with effortless chemistry between them, I get to fully focus on utilizing my creativity as much as possible. Which results in amazing photographs for my clients. It's a win win.

If you or anyone you know is getting ready to tie the knot, send them my way. I still have some fall '24 availability and am booking through 2025 now!

Saturday was the first wedding of wedding season for me. Super. Duper. Exciting! Kathleen and Tyler got married at The Ridge at the Maiolatesi Wine Cellars. If you haven't already heard, the one and only Constantino's Catering now has an event space there, for weddings, combining their event planning skills with their amazing culinary skills, which equals perfection. Kathleen and Tyler won the battle with the rain gods, and still got to enjoy some time with their friends and family outside before ripping it up on the dance floor. Congrats to you guys! Thank you for having me capture your special day with you!!!
