Alyssa and Chris got married up at the beautiful Blue Mountain Resort. I absolutely love getting to photograph up at the mountain and utilize all the nooks and crannies I know are secretly tucked away in various spots around the property. Of course, there is the ceremony site that overlooks the valley below, making a perfect spot to tie the knot. The weather was perfect, the people were epically fun, and the connection these two share shone so bright. Congrats, you two! I had an absolute blast spending time with you both on your special day!

Kaitlyn and David are getting married at Bear Creek Mountain Resort this fall. Getting to do their engagement session there as well was a no-brainer. Bear Creek offers an incredible amount of beautiful and carefully manicured scenery. We started our session out by the old barn and worked our way up to the areas around the resort. From stone walls to colorful flowers, the lake to the lawn, to the sharp architecture of the buildings, Bear Creek is full of aesthetic beauty. Add in two very easy-to-work-with, super-photogenic subjects, and we had ourselves a very fun session out there. I cannot wait for your big day, kids! We're going to have a blast!

Planning a two-day camp wedding is no easy feat. However, Joanna and Andrew somehow managed to pull it off with the help of family and friends. All in all, the preparation and planning were all part of their process and vibe. It made their wedding weekend feel like one big party, a community affair of sorts. Sunday, however, was the official day to tie the knot. Camp was a bit quieter at the start of the day, with everyone getting ready, followed by a Ketubah signing ceremony, surrounded by very close friends and family, and then the big ceremony and party. Cocktail hour and the reception were black tie attire, and every detail was on point. From the on-site sushi chef to the VW bus photobooth to the 12-piece band, Joanna and Andrew got to make memories to last a lifetime. Congrats, you two! Capturing your vision was an epic experience!!

The Derby Party

Sometimes, rather than have a rehearsal dinner, you throw yourself a Derby Party instead. Joanna and Andrew threw an epic derby and human horse race party at the one and only Tyler Hill Camp nestled deep in the mountains of rural Wayne County. There were food trucks, music, drinks, and dancing. As the sun set, there was even a human horse race; you will have to see for yourself in the photos. Bottom line, fun was had by all. Take a super-driven and creative couple, and you get pure magic.

I have been photographing this sweet family for years. And I love it. Photographing kids, especially little kids, especially little boys is no easy feat. However, I absolutely loved watching these three littles be wild and jump all over the forest. They threw sticks and dumped bubbles, and were completely adorable. Capturing the moments between the chaos is my specialty. Wouldn’t want it any other way. ❤️📸

And just like that, my 2024 wedding season has come to a close. This year was a good one, and Kristin and Jawad's wedding kinda provided a perfect end cap. Many years ago, I met Kristin's mom, Laura, at the chiropractor's office I used to go to when my kids were little. So it was super special when they reached out to me to photograph Kristin and Jawad's wedding. We started out at the one and only Lake Winola, where the Webster's have a house that has been in the family for many years. We made use of the old structures and "the point," as in the actual point of the entire lake. While I have seen it from boats and across the lake, I never knew it was literally part of someone's property. We even got to go out on a boat. After photos, everyone hopped on the bus and headed over to The Ridge by Constantino's Catering at Maiolatesi Wine Cellars for their ceremony and reception. There were sweet words shared by so many friends and family, amazing food, a dessert bar, and so much dancing. Congrats, you guys! You are surrounded by so many wonderful people.

Alyssa and Chris are getting married at Blue Mountain Resort in 2025. After throwing a few location options around for their engagement shoot, we decided to stick close to the resort, and utilize some of the secret spots I know. The Appalachian Trail runs right behind the resort, and along the top of the ridge of the mountain. It is a place I love and frequent often and is a place I love to share with others whenever I can. Our day was one of the first chilly fall ones, the leaves were on point, and the resort was basically vacant in prepping for it's next big seasonal shift. Which equaled...perfection for us. I cannot wait to capture your big day for you both next year up at Blue. Thanks for taking a stroll through the woods with me!
