Fun fact about me - I am in my fourth, and final, year on the Board or Directors for the Kearney Area Children's Museum. My family's favorite perk is being able to explore new exhibits when the museum isn't open to the public. My kids love having the museum to themselves! We just reopened our newly updated STEM Studio, be sure to stop in and check it out if you're local!

Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful mothers, grandmothers, Godmothers, moms-to be, mother-like figures, and those hoping to become a mother. You are all such an integral part of our world. I am forever grateful for my mom-tribe, I couldn't do life without you!

Yesterday I was fortunate to witness the marriage of Carly & Gage. One of the most special moments of my day was taking this photo of 5 generations of Ohnoutka women. These beautiful, kind, funny, amazing women (mothers!) and girls are part of such an incredible family - so much love in one photo. 🩷

Last night was so special to me. I was able to photograph my dad with his ‘48 Ford that he has restored over the years.

My great grandpa Tom was the original owner of this vehicle, and dad recovered it from a field at my mom’s family farm many years ago. The ‘48 has moved with them all over the country, and retirement has granted dad the time to finish it.

I love you dad, and I’m so thankful your project car is finally complete 🥰

How cute is the Burmood family?! They are getting ready to welcome baby girl #3 later this fall. We had a *perfect* evening for photos last night. Mid to late September sessions are my *MOST* favorite.

I have been a little quiet on here as our family wrapped up show lamb season, but I'm back! I've still been shooting, just haven't quite been able to keep up with editing & posting - so be ready for a bunch of wedding, senior, and baby photos headed your way!

Going to kick off my "return" with the wonderful Shuda family! They welcomed baby Benjamin earlier this month, and he is absolutely perfect! I suppose he fits right in with the rest of them as this was the *first shot* I took at their session last week.

Mother Nature tried her best to dampen the mood at Michael & Bridget's reception on Saturday, but really she just gifted us with gorgeous skies and a beautiful evening! Congratulations to the Petersons.

Thank you to all of my clients for being patient with me as summer comes to a close. My baby starts kindergarten this week, and while I am excited for our routines to pick back up and some dedicated time during the day to work, I am soaking up all of these last precious moments as an important chapter in my life comes to a close..... You will get your photos soon, I promise, I just have to clear the tears from my eyes to see them clearly ;)
