⏰ Elrod’s is almost here! Online registration has closed but you can signup on race day with cash/check/Venmo.

🚲 Riders please check your email for important info and waivers that must be completed.

👍 Early check-in will be available 5-7 Friday evening if you’re in town and like to be prepared.

📱 We’re heading out of office for our final race-day prep, please text us if you have any questions or concerns.

After hearing great feedback about last year’s course we’ll be traveling the same route in 2024. snagged the top spot in the 100 mile race last year with a time of 5:43:14. 👏

Calling all kids! 📣 New this year we’ll be hosting a FREE “roll and skate” event the Friday evening before Elrod’s.

We’ll leave from the shop at 6pm for a casual bike ride through Winfield’s iconic Island Park 🪿 and then skate 🛼 the night away (until 8pm) with !

Kids of all ages will also LOVE the 12 mile Elrod’s route with a cold refreshing {root} beer waiting for them at the finish line. 😉

This is us, watching the weather right now. 🤨 We’re planning on continuing our plans for the Kansas Day Redo ride tomorrow at 12:30! This is a casual ride, ~ 15 miles, either country gravel or pavement depending on rain. 🤷‍♀️

Due to the combined soggy and cold forecast for this weekend we’ve decided to move the group ride scheduled for this Saturday to *next* Saturday, February 3rd!

The forecast is out and January 27th is looking like a great day for a bike ride and 🍻! We’ll meet up at to roll out at 12:30pm for a casual 15 mile spin over gravel roads. The gravel is mostly tame and of course there is the obligatory one big hill, but trust us when we say you won’t be the only one walking it. All are welcome, please let us know that you’re coming by registering at the link in our story/bio. 🙌

We like to think that our annual KS Day Celebration is one of the things that makes this state so darn special. 🌻 Join us January 27th for a group ride and celebration to follow at & !

If it’s dry we’ll follow a ~ 15 mile gravel round to the historic Elrod’s bridge, if it’s not dry we found a great little pavement route last year.

Happy weekend and Happy New Year! 🥳 Join us Monday at noon at Camp Horizon for an “as casual as you would like” group ride. We’ll meet at the welcome center and start on Nick’s new easy riding trails before breaking off into groups to do your thing.

Bring food and drinks for after the ride, we’ll get a bonfire going to keep us warm!

Join us New Year’s Day at noon for a group ride through Camp Horizon! 🥳 Nick’s been hard at work creating a “short” loop with less rock and more flow.

We’ll ride at noon followed by bonfires and snacks, feel free to bring enough to share. You can register for free via the link on our website to let us know if you’re looking at the short loop or the long loop.

Join us for a New Year’s Day group ride! Nick’s been working on something special for us… a SHORT LOOP!

That’s right, all the things we love about like the amazing views without all the technical spots… unless you want to! After the ride we’ll hang out next to the fire pit so pack snacks. All riders and families are welcome, there’s something for everyone. Gravel bikes will be mostly fine on the short loop, we may have to walk just a bit but it’s supposed to be an adventure right?!

Our Story

You might have noticed... Boneshaker Gravel Series name changed to Boneshaker Gravel Rides, and then to Boneshaker Rides. What does this mean? Well, it's shorter and easier to remember. The Boneshaker Gravel Series is no longer, but Boneshaker Rides still puts on a gravel event, and supports regional promoters and their awesome events. That's not all. The love of all things cycling constantly has us plotting new ways to get down and dirty. So while gravel is the focus, Boneshaker Rides will also be hosting a mountain bike race in the fall, and are currently making plans for a “good times” grinduro! Stay tuned. 2018 is going to be amazing!
