Waterslides have come quite a long way over the last several years. For anyone that remembers… the red and grey slide pictured here was one of the first slides in our inventory. It was an 18 ft volcano slide. I’d say about 5-7 years ago. Not pictured, there was an extension piece that attached to it instead of the “pool” like a slip n slide almost. Everyone loved this slide. However, it had to be repaired so frequently and it became more of a headache than anything. The manufacturer even discontinued the extension piece.
Anyway, back to the new slide pictured here. Our 18 ft “South Beach” slide. Vibrant colors and eye popping features like the sunglasses, palm trees and artwork. You’ll also notice the marble pattern on the vinyl… something that’s become very popular over the last few years. Just makes it pop that much more compared to the older slides.

Thank you to all of you that have supported Andrew’s Bounce Rentals. 10 years in the books. What started out as just an idea for some summer work has turned into much more. I’m so fortunate to be able to do what I do and that wouldn’t be possible without my customers. Past, present, and future.

I was even able to attend IAAPA (international association of amusement parks and attractions) last week with Kyle of Kyle’s Bounce Rentals from Amsterdam. The majority of this convention is geared toward amusement parks, but also the major inflatable manufacturing companies that we buy from directly. So when Kyle and I get that common question of “where do you buy these things?” Here you have it! Obviously you can purchase them online, but it’s always nice to see your sales rep from each company and speak to them face to face. They inform you of new and upcoming projects in an industry that has gone from those goofy looking bounce houses with an animal head on the top…. To some of the most innovative and eye catching inflatables you can imagine.

With all that said, there was one inquiry I received much more than others over the last couple years…. And that was for a dual lane waterslide. Mission accomplished. The Blue Hurricane dual lane waterslide will be available to rent starting June 2025 (not pictured in this post).

This has been in the works all Summer, but finally launched a new online booking software. Now you can reserve something right on your phone or computer instead of waiting for me to get back to you after a busy weekend 😂 (I don’t think customers want a call back at 6 am or 10pm)

You can definitely still call or text! But this will make it much easier AND it’s updated in real time with availability. So there’s no guessing if the unicorn combo is available on your party day.

So this one’s for all the moms out there laying in bed at 10pm planning their parties! Book away!

After getting a few different calls/texts this morning from frantic people looking for last minute slides I wanted to share something.

1. I’d advise against booking with a “company” that doesn’t have a true website.

2. Piggybacking off #1 - I’d NEVER give a deposit to a “company” that doesn’t have a website and you found on Facebook or were referred to by your cousins friends uncles alligator.

3. I’ve booked and delivered well over 3,000 rentals for customers over the span of 10 years. Please book with legitimate companies, and if one of us can’t help you… we can help refer you to another.

Safe to say about 8 of the last 9 weekends this summer have been summarized very similarly. 😂Nothing like avoiding strenuous outdoor activity when your weekends consist of working outside 12-14 hours straight 😅. Is it Fall yet?

The little tarp stakes I use to hold the tarps down were the only thing I didn’t have a spot for on the dolly. I’d put them in my pocket and struggle to get them out because they’d get stuck on the mesh pockets of my shorts. Until my 11 year old daughter was working with me one evening this week, she found the perfect spot for them.
Don’t ever think you know everything because even a child can teach you a thing or two.

Busiest time of the year and a blown out stair on the most popular obstacle course. A little band aid until a new set of stairs is shipped. Thanks to my 7th grade home & careers class when we learned how to sew. At the time I thought I’d never put those skills to use. Little did 12 year old Andrew know that hundreds of kids would depend on his sewing skills for their school field days. I’m not a hero. Heroes wear capes.

Time to debunk the “It will kill my grass” mindset.

Just had a wonderful customer ask to keep a waterslide for multiple days. 3.5 days on their grass.
This is what it looks like after that amount of time. Just flattened grass that will pop right back up. Don’t be afraid to get a waterslide or any unit for that matter. It will not kill your grass. 😀🏝️☀️

On a typical setup… there are anywhere between 2-4 trips made from the truck to the setup location. Not anymore. 1 MAYBE 2 trips now saving time, energy, and my back!
