HEADS UP!!! Dried Mushrooms from Three Coins recalled for salmonella. Please check you pantries! The mushrooms are sold in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

Routine testing on Tai Phat's "Three Coins Dried Mushrooms" revealed the presence of the bacteria.

HEADS UP!! More fallout recalls from the organic strawberries linked to Hepatitis A outbreak: Organic Revitalizing Tea Tonic Strawberry Hibiscus Rose. This tea was sold in 23 states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. HEADS UP!!! Recall of Jif Peanut Butter due to salmonella contamination:

The J.M. Smucker Co. announced the recall on Friday. The Food and Drug Administration says current epidemiologic evidence points to a Lexington, Ky., facility as the likely cause of the outbreak.

HEADS UP!!! 60 tons of ground beef (including beef patties, grass-fed, kobe, wagyu, etc.) processed by Lakeside Refrigerated Services of NJ, sold nationwide have been recalled due to possible e.coli contamination from February 1 through April 8. The recall includes ground beef products sold across the U.S. under a number of different brand names.

Dole announced a new salad recall involving iceberg lettuce and other products that might contain Listeria monocytogenes traces.

HEADS UP!! Dole now recalling 177 salad products because of the deadly listeria outbreak. This, along with the 225 salad mixes recalled earlier this week by Fresh Express and other, makes for a total of 402 different varieties of salads (including organics) that are potentially contaminated with listeria. Three people have died and 22 hospitalized across more than two dozen states. Please take this recall seriously everyone:
