Let’s do a little “learn about the creative”

I’m Sofia, the girl behind The Creator’s Collection business and the podcast! 😊 This year marks seven years of pursing photography and filming and a little bit of designing. It’s wild to imagine what all I’ve learned in these seven years so I can say that it’s been a crazy journey of growing and watching God do what only He can do!

Part of my heart for creativity is how it really can speak to the heart in ways that sometimes can be hard to vocalize. Whether capturing moments, designing art, or jotting down a thought, creating for the past seven years has shown me the beauty of it.

I love to meet people and honored to capture special moments for them. I love the opportunities to help others flourish in their vision with helping design. I love being able to write about the many things God has spoken to my little heart and share with others.

This is just a little insight into why the entire collection business and podcast exist. It’s a piece of my heart and God’s vision mixed together to help and create beautiful things!

Thank you to everyone who’ve supported my business! You’re a part of the seven-year journey and I’m grateful for all the moments I’ve been able to be a part of. Let’s go another seven years 😉

In the embrace, it’s the unspoken words that speak to the heart. The tender hug of a mom is like a warm blanket that reminds the bride that this moment has been prayed for since day one.

Moments from the Whalley wedding 🤩🥂

When God laid the words, “bring influence”, on my heart, I imagined homes, schools, churches, job places, etc. I also imagined going into those places and feeling the heart of God for something new. The influence God has been speaking about isn’t about making myself known, but something much much bigger. It is about making Jesus known in the every day places that we sometimes overlook. To walk with the fruit of the Spirit and carry the sweet gifts with you. It wasn’t until 02/15/21 that I had a vision to film this video because it was the perfect setting for such a word. The snow covered every single thing and it had such a simple beauty to it. Just like the white snow, the influence God is showing me is meant to cover everything, everywhere. It’s an influence that is pure and glorious. (Huge shoutout to my dear friend, Jace Verdin, for making such a beautiful instrumental for this short clip. What an honor to feature his talent!!)
