I've had an appreciation for music since as early as I can remember. I seem to always have some song playing in the back of my head. I began playing guitar in middle school, and soon after added bass guitar, drums, percussion, and vocals, and tend to try my hand at any instrument I can get my hands on. I began learning about live sound systems in college and haven't stopped since. And to top it al

l off, I've developed a love and skill for providing DJ and Master of Ceremonies services at parties and receptions, complete with dance-floor lighting. I also love working with clients to provide color-matched uplighting to really bring a reception hall together.

3AM at Lisa & Jake's Wedding

Not only did I have the pleasure of DJ-ing for Lisa and Jake a couple of weekends ago, but I also provided some live entertainment for their dinner hour. I have over 200 songs to choose from in my live repertoire and I have the joy of playing about 20 of their favorites, including this classic. A guest pointed out to me that it began to rain outside as I sang this song, so I may no longer sing songs about rain on wedding days since apparently I have special powers. The sound is a bit muted since my iPhone was not recording from in front of my speakers.

Riddle me this: What is the best way for a DJ to start 2022? Congratulations to Lily and Kevin! Celebrating at @atlas42rva this New Years Day! (Fun fact: I’m glad the time lapse makes it hard to tell how long it really took me to remove my subwoofer cover. It was a very tight fit.)
