Hello, I’m Candice Ennis an art enthusiast, full time mom and a military spouse with a passion for body art. I was born and raised in Galveston, a small island in the gulf coast of Texas. Makeup and face-painting have always been interesting to me since growing up attending Mardi Gras festivals in the south. Naturally, I became a professional artist and opened my own freelance business. My family continuously relocates every 3 years due to a military lifestyle but provides the opportunity to travel experiencing different art cultures. Currently, we are stationed in Honolulu, Hi. I began my makeup career 4 years ago and continue an ongoing education in the industry and as an art student here in Honolulu. While in Virginia I completed advanced makeup for bridal at Kim Porters studio. Attended classes with amazing makeup artist educator Sara Seidman Vance “Lighting 101” and Terri Tomlinsons “Color Remote”. Currently attending two masterclasses with mentors, Stan Winston character arts student and International body art school.
Making a person feel good about themselves is truly a remarkable feeling. 'Face painting is one of my most popular services. I provide sessions for birthday parties, communities, festivals, PTA events and local military functions. Every time I paint a child's face, the response is magical -- after they see themselves in the mirror, them smiling and their eyes light up means you just helped a child create a positive memory.
I provide makeup for any type of production or event, such as festivals, birthday parties, military balls, high school homecoming dances, wedding, holiday parties, or any special event. These events provide lifelong memories (and usually have lots of photo ops!) so why not make yourself look and feel your best.
