Colors and textures are something we really focus on when building arrangements. It’s been a really fun journey to see how our style and creativity has changed over the past years since we started this unintended business. It’s amazing what these blooms can do for a person’s spirit and joy in a room!

I have said this before but never tire of it: I enjoy creating these live paintings so much and am so thankful for the encouragement and love we get for our flowers that helps us continue to grow our flower business. is the brains behind the irrigation, structural and problem solving aspects and I get to be a flower growing nerd and also design. And we cannot forgot who is a machine at everything she does…the younger one who lifts our heavy things and reaches are high up flower jars😆 while also creating beautiful arrangements. And all our other helpers that continue to work hard to help us walk through the doors that God leads us through!

Each time a new flower type starts blooming on our farm it’s like Christmas😂. Especially being at a new location, we are just learning the soil, water and wind factors…and more wind factors and did I mention the wind factor?
We are making great progress at the new farm! We are busy harvesting flowers, arranging bouquets, maintaining the greenhouse, setting up irrigation, covering plants with frost cloth(yes, you read that right), among many other things to grow these beautiful blooms! Dahlias are one of the most fun flowers to grow here. They are a joy to watch come up. We love to see what different shapes and colors surprise us each season! Every arrangement I make, if I know the person, I think of their house, what style they would like, the joy the flowers will bring whenever they look at them in their house and that makes me happy. Only a few hours away from the ground freezing, worked like a maniac to get these poles set. We weren’t planning on having this stage done until the spring but this will help things along sooner to have beautiful blooms ready next season!!
