Sneak peek from a gorgeous wedding at a private estate on a perfect Louisiana fall day! What made this wedding even more special was the fact that we did this bride’s twin sister’s wedding a few years ago. What an honor to be trusted once again!
We had the pleasure of coordinating and handling the flowers and decor for a beautiful fall wedding recently! The bride wanted fall but not obvious fall. We love when clients put their trust in us and they squeal and tear up when they see the finished product! ☺️
As always, the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center were absolute rockstars to work with. Phenomenal food, impeccable service, beautiful venue.

1000%!!
Don’t forget this is a special time for the mothers of the groom too!
Classic elegance describes this last weekend’s wedding from the venue to the bride to the decor. I enjoyed working with Heather and Mike so much and we wish them so many happy moments!
Now to recognize the unbelievable effort that went into making it a success.
A million thanks to Ellie Puryear with the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center. Her bright, calming smile is one of the best parts of hosting an event there and her extraordinary staff is the second best part (thank you, Felicia, Lorraine and everyone else!!)
I always feel inadequate in thanking my staff because mere words are not enough. This weekend quadrupled that feeling. One of our suppliers had a mixup that ultimately stole a day from our time to setup. Once the delivery was finally made with only 4 hours to do what we’d planned on doing in 1.5 days, everyone jumped into action and MADE IT HAPPEN! Mikki took the design for the arch from my head and from inspiration pictures and made it materialize like a gorgeous garden mirage. Jason and Zach made sure she had everything she needed as she designed. Jackie and Wenni didn’t stop until the aisle looked as magical as the arch. Mikki and Jackie (and I’m not even sure who all else) made sure the reception had beautiful, romantic centerpieces waiting when the ceremony was over so we could flip the room. The entire staff pitched in to transform the room from ceremony to reception and it was just lovely. Thank you for being the amazing team that you are!!
I can’t wait to get the formal pictures back from Allen Cutrer!!
Nannette Mayhall delivered a beautiful cake but the taste is the best part. I’ve eaten a lot of wedding cake through the years and not one tastes like Nannette’s cakes. Her cakes are just decadent!
Thanks to Doug Olinde, LLC for providing last minute rentals. They always come through with the best!!
A great group of vendors for a great couple! 🥰
Will a First Look ruin the experience of them walking down the aisle? This guy doesn’t think so…
Replying to .lombardi13 just an emotionally in touch tall king frfr
“Those are vows to remember!”
Our latest wedding at the Crowne Plaza. It turned out breathtaking!
Still one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve had the privilege of planning. 🥰
This weekend we had the honor of doing another wedding at the hospitable and beautiful Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts with Tony Trevino Designs. As a nice bonus, we worked with TT&T Dance Floors for the first time and hope it isn’t the last!
This is a couple of weeks late in getting posted but I couldn’t NOT post! We once again had the opportunity to partner with the talented Trevino Design to do the flowers for this gorgeous bride. We don’t have the professional pictures back yet but we’re still swooning over the ones we took with our phones. 😍
Thank you to my incredible team, Mikki Ashworth and Audrey Houston. I even had former Gala team member, Debbie Stuart Stiltner, swing by and lend a hand. 🥰
We won’t let you forget to hire a photographer.
Would you do it?
As most know, we’ve done wedding flowers for years. The majority of our looks are romantic and dramatic in the best possible way. Well, this past weekend we had the honor of doing something completely different. Funeral flowers. Stacy’s aunt passed away and the family asked her to do the flowers. She wanted to honor her aunt by bringing the beautiful Gala Productions flair as seen in the first set of pictures.
Almost a year ago to the day, Stacy’s uncle (husband to this aunt) passed and she did his flowers as well. He was a hunter and she honored that with his final flowers (second set).
On this page we enjoy talking about love and happiness and new beginnings but please know that if you or someone you know ever need funeral/memorial flowers, Stacy puts just as much heart and beauty into those as she does her wedding flowers. ❤️
Best. Vows. Ever!
Y’all…it’s true! 🤣
Meeting with a bride tonight and seriously swooning over her gift to her pastor/officiant. It’s guaranteed the pastor will never forget their wedding with these cuff links! 😍😍😍
Last wedding of 2021 is a blast!!
While I do NOT recommend sending invoices for no-shows, I noticed something in the article that needs to be addressed. The bride said she kept asking, “Are you coming?” When trying to ascertain if guests really are coming or not, you’ll get more accurate results if you give them an out. Don’t put them on the spot without giving them an out. Here’s what I mean…
How many people approach this:
Bride: I didn’t get your RSVP card back and I have to give a headcount to the caterer. Are you coming?
Guest (feeling cornered and don’t want to disappoint the bride): Yes!
Here’s how I recommend approaching this:
Bride: I didn’t get your RSVP card back and I know things get lost in the mail a lot. I need to turn in a headcount to the caterer. Do you know if you’ll be able to make it or were you already obligated to something else? I know that’s a busy weekend because of vacations/games/holidays/whatever.
Guest (takes the out you gave them): We did get the invite and I’m sorry I haven’t had a chance to respond but yes, something did come up and we’re already obligated. I hate that we’ll miss it!
Moral of the story: If you want a more accurate answer, don’t just put guests on the spot. Give them an out.
Happy planning!
The groom told the NY Post the bill was not about the money: "Four times we asked, 'Are you available to come'... and they kept saying 'Yes."

A young man’s grandmother came up to Alex Harvie at Friday’s wedding and asked if her grandson could be part of the live portrait Alex was painting. Alex was almost finished but he took the time to add the young man in. You can see the delight in the young man’s face and you can see how much Alex loves what he does. Love this video!! (Shoutout to the incredible Stormy the band performing in the background!)
