Hard week saying goodbye to someone I loved dearly. So much gets uprooted in death. Pain, love, loss, past, the familiar feelings of grief.
But the lesson in loss always remains the same:
Realize the gift of time that has not yet run out.
It is hard to say goodbye to the physical presence of someone. So many levels. Grief is personal and not meant to be judged.
May we remember to realize our love before it is too late. May we pour our energy into keeping a strong foundation in family. May we move forward in forgiveness, forward with love, always always always.
