End of a good good wedding (flower) season- going to let this body melt into a hot bath later. Thankful for all the folks in love who let me create for them, and my flower pals for the freelance fun. Summer in the garden :::

Someone's grilling - it's not me - but we are about to eat a summer feast , outside (as it should be ) . After 8 pm. That's the feeling for me. Not yet to the part of summer that feels fleeting - thankfully. I could go with less heat though.

Summer abundance ~ Taking the back roads to the woods, blue lines blurred where the chicory meets the overgrown dead grasses along the side of the road. I am talking to my daughters about life and death and the way everything in nature is connected and mirrored within us if we are paying attention. The privilege of this existence isn't lost on me. Easy to get caught up in the demands of life but it's the little pockets of times like these that fill me back up and keep me on for more more more

First - Forager's Friend : Insect Repellent

A DEET-free alternative. This repellent utilizes a specific blend of organic essential oils and whole plants to keep bugs and insects off and deterred~ Apply before going out into the woods, the garden, the anywhere really- to protect yourself. Safe for kids, pets, and adults! This blend I’ve been using for a while and I’m happy to finally have made enough to share with you all.

Ah yes, it’s that time of year where we are ripping weeds and grasses from the garden beds haphazardly only to notice, damn- that was poison ivy.

Soother Spray is a sweet relief in a bottle! This product is a topical herbal spray to soothe rashes, blisters, and inflammation caused by poisonous plants or allergic reactions. Spray as often as needed and use consistently for best results.

For example: spray directly on a poison ivy rash, let absorb and continue to spray as often as remembered. Can also spray to soak a gauze pad to wrap over effected area.
Keep in the refrigerator for optimal relief!
