Born in the summer of 2014 Storybook Entertainment has proven to be a magical addition to any birthday party or private event. Owner, Casey Fortuno, moved to the islands in 2012 along with her husband, Johnny Fortuno with no thought in her mind that only a few years later, she would be “princessing”, as she calls it, on a regular basis. Incorporating her love of the arts including music performance, costume design, theater production and graphic design combined with her love of children ....Storybook was born. What started with one custom ball gown sewn by Casey and her mother, soon became over 200 custom handmade costumes that dazzle children and adults alike.
“Storybook is different from competing companies for many reasons”, Casey says. “Each of our pieces in unique and created by us. We never use costumes out of a bag or Halloween store and our pieces are high quality and unique. We perform our own songs (also written by our team), do our own custom stage performances, we even read our own storybooks created with photos of our actual princesses in action. Our goal is to provide quality experiences that are unique to us. Our characters do not only show up and take photos - we do crafting projects, sing songs, teach dances, play games, write letters and more!”
Casey is a seasoned performer herself who has graced the stage from Nashville to Broadway. “My love of performance and my love for working with children was truly a perfect marriage. My heart is 100% devoted to the quality of my business and making memories for each and every child .There isn’t a better place for me on earth than Storybook” she says. Storybook has grown out of the small closet it once resided in and now has nearly 100 actors and actresses on it’s roster, made up only of those who also have a passion for the entertainment industry be it modeling, singing, dancing or acting.
