Hey everyone, your charity dance invitations were mailed out last week. Like last year there seems to be some confusion or misconceptions. THIS IS NOT A COUNTRY MUSIC ONLY DANCE! It is a mix of all genres with a little country music and line dancing mixed in. All our dances have a “theme” to make the evening interesting. You don’t have to wear cowboy boots or a cowboy hat either but why not play into the theme if you can? This is a dance to raise money for our Charitable Trust and we hope to see you all there.

Made our donation to the Pennsylvania Elks Home Service Program through Fayette Gives “day of giving”. Our donation will be enhanced by a prorated percentage of the bonus pool. It’s November, and that means the deadline to apply for the Most Valuable Student Scholarship is almost here! Submit your applications by 11:59 p.m. PST on November 13 to be considered for one of the 500 scholarships.

Most Valuable Student scholarships range from $1,000 to $7,500 per year and are open to current high school seniors. Applicants do not need to be related to a member of the Elks, so make sure to spread the word to any high school seniors in your circles!
