Hi I’m Wilson McCourtney the owner of Baby Blue Film 🎥🎬🩵🥂📸

Just thought I’d share some fun facts about me to help our new clients get to know me better.

• I’m 41 years old
• I was born and raised on Siesta Key in Sarasota FL
• I now live in Portland Maine 🌲🦞with my three young boys: Nico Ocean, Santiago Storm, and Rio Midnight
• My dad taught me everything I know about photography and my fondest teenage memories are the long nights I spent in the dark room printing black and white with him while he smoked ci******es and listened to Bob Dylan
• My brother is also a really successful real estate photographer so it clearly runs in the family
• Part of my childhood (3-8) was spent living in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil while my mom taught English and danced in the Carnival my dad was on the streets shooting large format portrait photography
• I’m obsessed with the ocean. Nature is my vibe
• I’m a wildlife conservationist and an underwater cinematographer filming sharks, turtles, manatees, whales and any other fascinating sea creatures I am blessed to encounter on my dives around the world 🌎
• My favorite hobbies are shark diving, tennis, and birding
• I started Baby Blue Film in 2012 after a friend in Eugene Oregon asked me to make them a free wedding video (turns out I was really good at it - HA HA) and I never looked back - I knew I found my calling
• I have a feature documentary film about saving sharks and protecting our oceans from Red Tide in FL called set to be released at a film festival near you in 2025-2026 - PLEASE consider following and supporting my journey to save a sacred place of mine produced by

How CUTE are these two apple 🍎 pickin’ for their engagement shoot? 🤩 Ahhh…We cannot wait to film and photograph their stunning York Beach Wedding in September! Olivia+Jared are sooo madly in love that shooting them was a breeze with all the laughs, smiles, and endearing gestures back and forth.

This is definitely one of my top ten best engagement sessions ever!!! Wait until you see the pumpkin 🎃 patch portraits we got - they are out of this world.
