Join us for country fun at Happy Hens class day! We have hands on activities for every subject. Just this week we collected and preserved samples of deciduous, coniferous, evergreen and fruit bearing trees found on Happy Hens Farm! 🍂🍃🍁The goal is to help children integrate their surroundings into every learning experience. Education isn’t always in the classroom. Sometimes it’s out at Happy Hens Homestead!

Join us on Mondays at Happy Hens Ramona for lively learning experiences on a chicken farm!
There’s nothing like the crowing of roosters to help transport you right into the heart of the west, where scientific discoveries are abounding, English learning is essential, and encounters with a Spanish speaker are bound to happen!
Add building everything from scratch (even if it’s just legos) and your practically a horse riding, bonnet wearing, land seeking settler.
Come on down! Don’t chicken out! 🐓

It's an amazing way to enhance your social studies and geography lessons as you learn about different cultures around the world from people who are from there! 🌎 Come meet someone from Germany, Iran, France, India, or Israel all in one day. 😍

Dance class 💃 is starting up again NEXT WEEK! If you would like your child to be involved in a dance class that is modest, family-friendly and physically challenging, this is the option for you!

We've now added a SECOND day and location to the schedule to accommodate those families in different parts of the county. 🤩

Mondays in Escondido, and Thursdays in Escondido AND Point Loma this year!

All children ages 4+ are welcome to join, and no experience is necessary. Email our registrar to get more info and to enroll.

Our first visit to the International Cottages this year is to the House of Mexico! All families are welcome to join us. Bring a lunch and join us a little earlier that day before we head over to the Cottages to start our interactive tour. We'll feature one special House each month from September to May!

We will make a donation to each House and also provide custom-made passports for children to interact with the docents. SO much to learn about culture, geography, foods, customs, and people at the International Cottages in Balboa Park!

Join us for an interactive tour of the House of Mexico next month! Bring a lunch and join us a little early to hang out before we meet up with the docents of the International Cottages. We will be giving the House of Mexico a donation that day, along with providing all participants a custom designed passport book to engage with the other Cottages as well. SO much to see and learn at the International Cottages in Balboa Park!

We visited the wonderful Mr. Bill at the historic Balboa Park Carousel recently and had a great time! So much history to learn about how it was made, the craftsmanship and artistic features, and the journey it's taken to be in our beautiful Balboa Park. Thank you Mr. Bill for always hosting us with a big smile! 😁

Happy Independence Day 🎆 from Soaring Minds Education!

Today is the day our country celebrates our hard-fought freedom. The freedom to choose an educational path for our children, the freedom to embrace change, and get back to our roots! Roots where parents were the main educators and guides in their families and, and their children's education didn't contradict with their family's morals.

One of our goals at SME is to equip families with the information they need to FREE 🌟 themselves of the chaos of the modern school system and embrace the FREEDOM of alternative education. This can look different for everyone, but it can be perfectly personalized for you! 🤩 If you've been feeling like there's something better out there for your children, we encourage you to embrace freedom, and make the change! Get informed, and feel empowered, and see your children THRIVE! 💪
