The 10th Annual La Habra Tamale Festival is now open! The event will be held today from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Euclid St. between La Habra Blvd. and Bridenbecker Way. We have a jam-packed day of fun filled with tamales, vendors, live entertainment, Children’s Play Zone, Santa Photos, Tree Lighting, and more! There is an event shuttle running all day! The 10th Annual La Habra Tamale Festival will be held on Saturday, December 2nd from 10AM to 8PM and is presented by Northgate Market and CR&R Enviornmental Services. The event is held on Euclid St., between La Habra Blvd. and Bridenbecker Way.

Highlights include: TAMALES, food vendors, TAMALES, three stages of entertainment, TAMALES, cantina, TAMALES, Children's Play Zone, TAMALES, event shuttle, TAMALES, general vendors, and a Tree Lighting Ceremony.

What is a Tree Lighting Ceremony without Jimmy Reyes? Good thing we won't have to find out this year as we celebrate the 10th Annual Tamale Festival with Jimmy Reyes! Jimmy will be hosting the Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Northgate Stage at 6:00 p.m. and will feature performances from; The Imperial Middle School Band, Corona Dance Studio, La Habra Child Development Students, Tecnica Arte y Folklore, and Phantom Projects Theatre. The Tree Lighting will end with a Holiday Firework display.

The Children's Play Area sponsored by the Children's Museum and American First Credit Union is excited to announce its activities at the 10th Annual La Habra Tamale Festival on Saturday, December 2nd.

There are FREE activities and stage shows along with a wristband for purchase for additional activities! The day of the event, you can purchase a camel ride! Wristbands will be sold in the month of November at the Children's Museum at La Habra and the La Habra Community Center for a discounted price of $10.

Make sure you bring a jacket for the Tree Lighting Ceremony tomorrow night at the 9th Annual La Habra Tamale Festival. The Tree Lighting begins at 6pm!

The Tree Lighting will be hosted by Jimmy Reyes and will include appearances by La Habra Mayor, Jose Medrano, La Habra Pop Warner Cheerleaders, Imperial Middle School Concert Band, Tecnica Arte Y Folklore, La Habra Child Development, Chris Reza, and Corona Dance Studio. The Tree Lighting also includes a short holiday firework display.

Following the Tree Lighting, Jimmy Reyes will be at the Main Stage playing music from 7:30 to 9:30pm! it’s a night of fun you don’t want to miss!

The FREE Shuttle will run every 20-minutes. You can pick-up the shuttle from the lower parking lot of La Bonita Park or the La Habra Marketplace.

The 9th Annual La Habra Tamale Festival will be held on Saturday, December 3rd from 10AM to 10PM. The American First Kids Zone hosted by the Children's Museum at La Habra will be held at Brio Park from 10AM to 6PM. (Closing in time for our guests to head over to the Northgate stage for the Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Holiday Fireworks!

FREE ACTIVITIES: Children's Museum at La Habra Mobile Museum, Reptile Interactions (select times only), Kids Science Station, and Arts and Crafts!

PURCHASE A STAMP CARD AT THE EVENT: Stamps can be redeemed at our game booths, Ferris Wheel & Train Ride (Close at 10pm), Cookie Decorating (select time only), balloon artist booth (select time only) , and Tamale Lesson booth!

FREE ENTERTAINMENT SHOW on the American First Credit Union Stage at Brio Park featuring performances by Martin Espino, Sounds of Ancient Mexico: History of Tamales, LHHS JROTC: Armed Ex, Prehistoric Pets Reptile Show, and the La Habra Pop Warner Cheerleaders.

Crossroads Church La Habra will be hosting a FREE diaper changing and nursing station.

Wild About Face Painting will be painting faces for $10/each and selling vinyl stickers for $1.
