Had the best time capturing the magic of friendship during the one of my model call photo sessions this weekend! Getting into awkward poses and capturing candid laughs is best done with best friends. Model Call: Seeking High School Seniors!
Are you and your friends ready to capture the essence of your senior year in stunning photographs? I'm looking for 3-4 high school seniors who are close friends to be featured in a dynamic and memorable photoshoot.
Requirements:
- Must be high school seniors.
- Should be good friends who share a strong bond.
- Open to various photography styles and themes.
- Available for approximately 2 hours on a weekend in mid to late April.
- Parent and/or guardian willing to sign a model release form allowing the use of images for promotional purposes.
- At least one parent and/or guardian must be in attendance during photo session.

- Each participant receives 5 digital edited high-resolution images.

Last week I shared a beautifully snowy maternity session, but I also want to share the other half of their session that was done in the warmth and comfort of their home. I loved how we were able to capture both sides of what a winter pregnancy can be like.
This snow has me reminiscing on one of my favorite maternity sessions. This pregnant mama was due in mid February and really wanted a snowy session. We waited and waited and finally got some snow on January 18! Thank goodness because her perfect little boy was born just 6 days later! We had also done a beautifully cozy in home maternity session just in case the snow didn't show up, but I'm so glad it did because these photos are just magical!

Just so grateful for this beautiful end to my mini session evening in Beacon tonight. After so many rainy Saturday's I really enjoyed this warm and sunny October day.
I talk about it a lot, but I genuinely want your whole family to feel comfortable during our session. For a lot of kids that means spending a lot of our time very close to their parents. Please don't stress about it. If we can give them time to get to know me and trust that I am here to have fun with them, I can almost guarantee that they'll warm up to me and we'll be able to get some genuine smiles. And while we wait for them, we will definitely get some amazing shots of the love you have for them.
There is something beautiful about the relationships between dads and their daughters. It's a profound love that often can't be explained.
As a photographer, I seek to immortalize these precious moments—a genuine laugh, a tender touch, or a loving gaze. These photographs are not just images but fragments of a story, a testament to the deep bonds and love that reside within a family.

While I don't guarantee any specific images, at some point early in the session I take a simple posed portrait. After that, we get playful. I encourage lots of snuggling and giggles. This helps everyone relax and look their best.

A misconception about lifestyle photo sessions is that there isn't posing involved, that you're supposed to show up and just know what to do. But that isn't how it works. Every photo included in your gallery is purposefully curated with a mix of poses and prompts to get you into beautiful positions that show off your family.
I work hard to make you feel comfortable, often laughing with you at how awkward some of the poses can feel, even though they yield the most beautiful pictures. There is no need to stress about if you're doing it right, as long as you're enjoying time with your family, your gallery will be beautiful and show off your amazing connections.
School photos are too posed, stiff and don't show off your kid's personality. During every mini session I make sure to take portraits of your child individually, these pictures are fantastic for sharing with family and friends.
I love learning their personality and playing around with them to make sure to get you images that truly represent who your child is today. Sometimes for toddlers or infants these pictures may be in the parent's arms, some like to twirl or jump, and sometimes they have their ideal pose in mind. It is so fun to capture your children being themselves, and it always leads to gorgeous portraits of them.

My fall mini sessions are great for holiday cards, to share with friends and family or to use as updated portraits for your home. My favorite thing about getting updated family pictures is having images that have Mom in them!
I love having pictures that highlight how much love I my kids. It's so nice to have photos where I did my hair and makeup and I get to show off the connection I have with them. I will always cherish these pictures and i just know my kids will love them as they grow up too.

I think that there is a special kind of magic in being able to watch our kids grow up. Infants are precious and beg to be snuggled. Toddlers are rambunctious and make us laugh. School aged kids surprise us every day with new skills and interests. And teenagers, they may be my favorite. They are smart and poised and beautiful glimpses into the future.

My biggest goal for family sessions is for everyone to be relaxed and comfortable. I don't want you to look at the pictures and remember feeling nervous or stressed. I want you to see your beautiful family and remember it as a time when you had a great afternoon together. Kids will be kids, sometimes they need more hugs and sometimes they need to shake their sillies out. We can work with both of those to create some magical photos.

As a mom of two little ones, I hear that I'm going to miss this stage a lot from parents with older kids. The stage where they need me so much and it is exhausting every day. It's hard to believe until I look back on pictures from 6 months ago and wonder when the kids got so big.
