Hey friends 🫶 I wanted to share a quick update with all of you.

I’m still behind on wedding gallery deliveries, but I am getting them out as quickly as I can. I’m working around the clock. Early mornings, late nights, because I care so, so much about giving each of you the beautiful, high quality photos and videos you deserve.

I’m one person running this entire business: I shoot, edit, communicate, post, deliver everything. I’m also a full time mom, and I’m still out photographing sessions and weddings each week. Editing is extremely time consuming, and while I wish I could get everything out faster, I refuse to rush through your memories just to check a box. Your stories deserve better than that.

If you’ve reached out and haven’t heard back right away, please don’t worry, it just means I’m in editing mode, trying to make the most of every second. I’m always happy to provide an update if you ever need one!

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to get better about posting on social media. Starting off with a sneak peek from Haley and Tim’s wedding!

Their day was absolutely amazing: perfect weather, wonderful vendors, and so much fun dancing and celebrating. We even got to wander around some of the most beautiful spots in St. Augustine for their bridal portraits, and caught the last weekend of Nights of Lights!

Haley and Tim, congratulations! It feels like just yesterday we were doing your engagement photos around St. Augustine, and now you’re married! Wishing you all the happiness in the world. 💕

✨ Why Do Photographers Have a Turnover Time? ✨

We often get asked why there's a wait for receiving photos, and we want to give you a glimpse into our process! 📸

After your photo session, you're not just receiving a gallery—you're receiving carefully crafted memories. We work with many wonderful clients, and each project requires time and attention. Just like waiting in line for a ride at Disney, there's a queue for your photos in the editing process. Every client is equally important, and we dedicate the necessary time to perfect each set of images.

Once the photos are selected, the detailed editing begins. This involves enhancing lighting, colors, and details to bring out the best in every shot. Given the number of clients we serve, there’s an editing queue where each project is handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as you wait for your turn. Our goal is to deliver beautiful, high-quality photos that are worth the wait and can be cherished forever! 🥰 Thank you for trusting us with your special moments.

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸 Today, we celebrate the birth of our great nation and reflect on how fortunate we are to live in the land of the free. Let's take a moment to honor and express our gratitude to the brave men and women in our armed forces who have made countless sacrifices to protect our freedoms.

Last week, I had the incredible honor of photographing the USS The Sullivans Change of Command. It was a beautiful day and a momentous occasion, and I am truly grateful to the Wood family for entrusting me with capturing such a special event. Here's to celebrating the red, white, and blue today and always!

The lady behind the lens! Time for me to introduce myself!

Hey there! I'm Sydney, a full-time photographer who loves capturing special memories for families and couples every weekend. I absolutely adore being a part of so many joyous moments.

If I could time-travel, I'd love to have photographed V-J Day on August 14, 1945, especially "The Kiss," or one of Marie Antoinette's extravagant balls in Versailles.

When I'm not behind the lens, I'm probably snacking on honey mustard pretzels, watching anything from The Bachelor franchise, or watching Bridgerton for the 10000th time. I can't live without my phone, lol don't judge me! My 85mm lens is my ride-or-die piece of photography gear.

Fun fact: I have a big background in musical theatre and singing – Broadway would be my dream job if I weren't a photographer! I also love Disney, am a huge Star Wars nerd, prefer pants over dresses, Birkenstocks over stilettos, and am a big sports fan (baseball and football).

Dream destination for a shoot? Definitely Switzerland. And here's my top tip for couples: Do your research and make sure you vibe well with your photographer – feeling like best friends makes the experience even more amazing!
