.k.creates_ thanks for getting us involved in an auction event to help raise moolah for marana youth sports! designed, laid out and burned this sign and then I added a few burn details and a clear coat. It turned out so pretty and we both worked on it in our separate spaces and this is what we came up with! Super cool if you ask me! 🌵

Hi! My name is Tari. I am originally from Idaho, but my husband and I (along with our 5 kids) have been in Tucson for the last 10 years and we plan to be here for many, many more to come. I have been blessed to stay home with my kids for the last 16 years, and now that everyone is off to school, I’m excited for this opportunity to join Pretty Pickins. I love to create and I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

I tell you what. These signs didn’t want to be painted on, I ran into peeling problem after peeling problem. Solution? Just use permanent vinyl since it’s mostly text and seal it with a spray poly. The pinks are painted on tho with a pretty metallic rose color-couldn’t help myself I had to add some sparkle! Shout out to .by.jess for being the best client ever and putting up with all the date push backs we had to do but it’s 🎶signed, sealed, delivered🎶 and gorgeous.

A pretty black and white medium sign for Ashley with her set ups are gorgeous and she even created the design for the sign! Thank you for your patience with delivery, cold wet weather and spray paint aren’t the best of friends.

Have you guys been to yet!? I don’t think I’ve ever walked into a store and been wowed. On the outside you get warehouse vibes then you walk into this beautiful apothecary studio where you instantly feel welcome! It’s a magical kind of place that you MUST visit, I’m going to have to go back soon to get a photo of my aura! So cool right!? Anywaysssss they have this super cool vending machine that we added some mid century vibes to! Thanks for trusting me I throughly enjoyed hanging out!

Huge thank you to the ladies over at Desert Oasis Healthy Living for allowing to make them this 50”x32” beauty. THIS is what I’m talking about. I was able to burn, stain and paint parts of this sign and then the custom built frame just brought it all together with the black!

This was a fun one! I got to paint a cute lil shrimp and got to try out some gradient painting for the logo. Both logos are beautiful but I mean a shrimp with maracas-come on!? Love it! But fun fact about me-seafood is a nope unless it’s deep fried white fish🤣or ya know like bass or catfish (I’m from Texas) anyways thanks you for trusting me with your vision🥰

You guys. is this weekend and have y’all seen this sign out by the road!? Holy moly the way added a light to display this 4ftx6ft stretched canvas is.classy.as.heck.haha I love everything about how her vision came together and I’m giddy inside that I got to be part of this. This sign for really pushed me as an artist and I couldn’t be more thankful because LOOK! This baby is front and back and I kinda can’t believe I painted it. I was getting very frustrated with the ugly part of the process so I stopped recording, took a breath, and decided I got this. And it happened! Thank you for letting me paint your logo!!!

For me it’s the little things like how I didn’t center the canvas frame on its stand for the photo lol ugh but who cares cause I love how this 4ft x 6ft sign turned out!! A little before and after action. Watching this come together was kind of mind blowing haha. METAL IS SO COOL! We went from a pile of steel to a low key sculpture 🤣 I know I know-silly- but it’s solid, heavy, durable in design, the top opens to change out the sign if needed and it’s on freakin wheels with lockers and casters haha can you tell I’m impressed with how handy my hubs is? YUP ALWAYS haha. I have an idea and he brings it to life even better than I imagine!
