As the wife of a soldier who is currently serving in the Army and the parent of a transgender child, I know first-hand how important it is that my child gets the best, most appropriate medical care and mental health support. And without health insurance footing the bills, we could have never afforded and provided that. Military folks shouldn’t have to choose between serving this great country and supporting their trans kids’ needs 🏳️‍⚧️
