We are seeking a talented and passionate Bridal Stylist & Social Media Marketer to join our team. This role combines creative bridal styling with the exciting world of social media marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience in styling brides for their big day and a flair for promoting services and events through social media platforms.

Bridal Stylist:
-Assist brides in choosing their perfect wedding attire and accessories.
-Offer styling advice to ensure a cohesive and personalized bridal look.
-Maintain a positive, supportive, and customer-focused experience for all brides.
-Stay updated on bridal trends and new styles.

Social Media Marketer:
-Create and schedule engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
-Manage and grow our social media presence with a focus on visual storytelling.
-Monitor analytics to track social media performance and engagement.
-Develop strategies to increase brand visibility and attract new clients.
-Collaborate with the team to align marketing efforts with bridal services.

Qualifications:
-Previous experience in bridal styling, fashion, or a related field.
-Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
-Creative mindset and ability to create visually appealing content.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to multitask and work efficiently.
-Strong attention to detail.

Work Schedule:
-Approx. 30 hours per week
-Saturdays are required.
-Flexible weekday schedule to be arranged based on business needs.

I get to eat a lot of sweets in this profession... and I have to say, it's not every day that I get surprised, but these BANANA PUDDING COOKIES from Sugar Dream Dessert Co. need A CHEERLEADER to brag on just how amazing they are! Best part? She is happy to individually wrap these for birthdays, holidays, events, parties, and weddings so that your guests can enjoy on site or on the go. I was lucky to taste a few of these, and we are a house divided... Nola loved the red velvet, but I have a feeling if she saw the cotton candy cookie she's offering for the holidays, her vote would have gone in that direction. 🤣

Finding that dress that fits everyone's style, body shape, skin tone, etc, can be tedious, but do you know the history behind it?

In Roman times, bridesmaids not only wore the same dresses, they wore the exact same dress as the bride! The bridesmaids’ job was to be decoys for any evil spirits wishing to stop the couple's union.

Luckily, nowadays, we pick our bridal party based on people who will support us on our big day. So don’t worry, ladies—being a decoy for evil spirits is no longer in your job description on the big day!

The morning of getting ready for your wedding is exciting but also nerve-wracking! Here are just a few things to help your morning go over smoothly.

-Once you arrive at your getting-ready location, put everything in one spot! That way, when it's time to get dressed, you know where everything is. Same with details. Grooms... I’m looking at you too!
-Bring a steamer, maybe two! As careful as you are, there are always wrinkles that need to be taken care of.
-Set the mood with an awesome playlist! Trust me, it’ll help settle some of the nerves.
-Double-check and triple-check your timeline. It helps so that you make sure you are right on schedule.
-Have your thank-you gifts ready to go the night before. While not required, it is a nice gesture to your bridal party for being there on your big day.
-Food and Drinks. It is a long day of getting ready - especially for the ladies. You don’t want to go all day without eating or drinking anything. No passing out from hunger or dehydration! DON’T FORGET THE WATER!

well, hello stranger.

about sara

she worked in the food and beverage industry for 12 years by the time she was 26.

her undergraduate, double major, and graduate degrees were all in fields of business.

lake charles has more than three red lights, so at first, it was the “big city.” then she went to london.

since 2012, she has been involved in nearly 400 weddings and events – and counting

this includes her experience with weddings associated with her previous job at empire of the seed in lake charles where she managed two premier event centers in the area: the historic calcasieu marine national bank and the historic cash & carry building.

she’s in love with excellent food, unique spirits, good cheer, and great company.

beer always tastes better in the proper glass. side note: she should brew more often.

her cat understands her meows.

nutella brownies.

she knows the difference between there, their, and they’re.

coffee is her muse. the same could be said for music or traveling – even more so when they occur simultaneously.

she bought a house, got married, and honeymooned within a 39 day span. she doesn’t recommend it, but she will get you through it if this unfortunate scenario finds you.

said house is over 90 years old. she bought it because it reminded her of summers at her great-grandmother’s house.

she’s currently working on becoming more handy.

when not planning weddings, she dreads the gym, the laundry, and the overcooked steak.
