Many of you have reached out through text, email and messenger asking if we are hosting the Natsu Matsuri event at the Pearl Country Club.

Unfortunately, Ho’okipa Events, LLC & Matsuri Entertainment, LLC no longer has a working relationship with the Pearl Country Club & Night Market Central. We are honored to have been the original curators of this event bring the first ever Obon to Pearl Country Club. We are very humbled that the Obon traditions are continued to be shared at community such as the Pearl Country Club Night Market.

No matter who or how you love, you should love yourself for it. The LGBTQIA+ community has made dramatic strides in recent decades that absolutely should be celebrated, there is still much more work to do to ensure intersectional equality and justice for all. Whether you identify as a member of the community or an ally, we encourage you to walk with your head high and love who you love—and to fight for everyone to have the right to do the same.

Reverend Maurice & his on-staff ministers are always available to provide counseling & support no matter where you are on your journey. You are valid. You are strong. And most importantly, you are loved.

ALLYSHIP AND INCLUSIVITY TRAINING IN THE WEDDING AND EVENT INDUSTRY

Creating space for LGBTQ+ couples in the wedding and event industry has ALWAYS been the mission for The Gay Agenda Collective. TGA wants all businesses in the wedding and event industry to create better habits and practices that celebrate q***r couples, instead of tokenizing or misreprensenting them. Before we can implement these business practices, we must first delve into what it truly means to be an Ally and how your identity awareness can influence the space necessary for inclusion.

Our instructors, Zabrina and Ipolani Zablan-Duvauchelle will take you through three sessions that give you the past, present, and future for Allyship and Inclusion within the wedding and event industry.

We will end the training with a panel of Q***r and Kanaka-owned wedding businesses.
