We did it, another Legendary birthday in the books. Happy Birthday Legendary, the party was a full on Baby Shark adventure. Not even kidding, there were live sharks at this party, so cool. As always grateful to for entrusting me with capturing these moments for you and your family.

So this is what I get do for a living, that’s pretty freaking cool. So grateful I get to create and have fun while doing it. Another successful pre-shoot at the LA County Arboretum.

I had to wait a long time to post these but so worth the wait. We took so many fun and creative photos and I was accompanied by my daughters for this shoot, so it was that much more special. The last pose was actually my Arya’s idea!

There is no greater feeling as a photographer than having previous clients reach out to you for more photos. I had the opportunity to capture these maternity photos for Jocelyn and Kevin. It was a really beautiful moment.

We always work really hard to create these larger than life photos. Some of it is skill, but sometimes you do get lucky and the light hits your subject just right, it’s magical, I love photography.

Sometimes, clients ask you to do some work to capture their proposal, and then there's Ken.
Ken called me after we connected through my cousin, and told me about his grand plan to hike up a mountain and ask the woman he loves to marry him. I am an avid hiker and absolutely loved the idea. There's nothing more amazing than love and mountains. However, this was no ordinary mountain, and the conditions called for some extra equipment. We ended up detouring slightly in order to capture the proposal at an ideal location.
It turned out absolutely stunning. It made me realize I need to find more backdrops like this and some more adventurous couples like Ken and Alexis. Thank you for asking me to be a part of this wonderful moment in your lives. I can't wait for our engagement shoot later this month.

Happy Birthday Sweetheart!
It's no secret to Arya that I love her and that I think she is beautiful and sweet. I basically tell her every single day. However, yesterday was a little different. Arya and I set out to do her annual birthday photoshoot, and I think to me it was kind of no big deal at first, simply because I do photoshoots all the time. But to her, it was different, it was an adventure day just for her, we went last minute to find her a dress and flowers(both Target finds), and we even detoured a few times in the location.
We started the shoot at a local oak preserve and shortly were being kicked out by park rangers because they closed right before sunset. We then found a new spot right off the road with only about 20 minutes before it got dark. This is when a new memory was made, Arya looked at me as I was posing her and said "dad, you're such a good photographer, I feel like a model and I feel so beautiful" with a little glow in her eyes. Then she told me I was the best dad ever, and I gotta say I don't know if I am or not, because there's a lot of wonderful dads out there, but Arya made me feel like the only dad in the world in that moment. It was special, I'll never forget it, these photos will always have that hold on my heart, just like Arya has since the day she was born. So, I finish with this little advice, just spend some time with your kids, distraction free, talk to them, be present with them, I promise you it means a lot to them.
