Did you know we offer free flower donation services? During 2024 we were able to brighten up 6 local senior care and hospice facilities with multiple flower arrangements. One of my favorite parts of working with full service wedding planning clients is when they choose to donate their flowers and continue to share the love and beauty from their special day.

We were privliged to work with some wonderful brides this year who had mothers who were supporting their daughters through the entire wedding planning process. Support from family is so crucial while the couple try to navigate the choices they make. Support doesn't mean coercion, guilt, or rail-roading the couple in wedding planning decisions. Rather, it is ideal for the family to assist, encourage, and cooperate with the decisons the couple make.

In my 2024 recap this week I am highlighting the podcasts I was honored participate in. It is truly humbling to have industry professionals want to connect with you and ask to share your experience and thoughts with their listners.
The first one was with Wedding Industry News podcast. They allowed me to share insight on how to navigate health emergenecies and tips on keeping your business operational when you are not available. The second feature was by Eventful Endeavor's podcast. During our chat we focused on my history in the wedding industry, insights on wedding education, and general wedding planning. Both are linked if you missed them before or want to rewatch.

As the 2024 wedding season comes to an end, it is time to reflect on the accomplishments Stress-Free Weddings, Inc. has made and the fun couples we had the joy of working with. January 2024 started out with some huge wins. The first was being honored with Wedding Planner of the Year by
I started my wedding education journey back in 2014. For the last 10 years, continuing education has been vital in the success of my business and the services I provide for my Clients. Being acknowledged and recognized by my fellow wedding industry peers was an AMAZING way to kick start this year.

First check out their website. If they don't have one, move on to the next one on your list. Why? It is so important to work with business professionals who have all their ducks in a row. Yesterday kicked off engagement season. From now until February 14th there will be roughly 1 million proposals in the US. As you enjoy this special time remember to share the news when you as a couple are ready. Tell your loved ones first. Decide when you want to share on social media, if at all.
