I debated even posting anything lately because it feels so strange to be posting pretty pictures when the world is hurting.
This spoke to me, so I thought I’d share:

I’m so thankful that we can buy flowers from S. and Central America when we need to for weddings, but so so grateful for the amazing community of local flower farmers who constantly bring incredible flowers. They are not only beautiful, but have less chemicals, less footprint, and touch way fewer hands through the growing to wholesale to florist process.

I woke up early to work on a bouquet. In the middle of the bouquet, Liesl woke up and now we are cuddling on the couch. I’m forever grateful to be my own boss, to work in my own home, and to be with my girls. Not all weddings are like this, but for an elopement it works great to be home.

Our Story

After years of searching for my path, I fell into floral design during a summer job and haven’t looked back since. Day three as a beginner florist, I couldn’t believe that I could have so much joy working. Everyday brought new joys and new challenges. I love the way flowers can inspire and speak to people the way other things can’t. I was always meant to play with flowers - their beauty and complexity inspire me to push past fear and take hold of life more fully.

A bit more personal: I have been married for four years to my best friend, who is an encouragement to me to pursue my dreams and work hard. We are bringing a little Brons into the world September 2019.

I am a solid nine wing eight (basically a walking contradiction) on the Enneagram -- which explains how I operate better than I’ve ever been able to understand. I am passionate, somewhat indecisive, I crave peace, and am willing to fight for love and unity. Learning more about myself has helped me love others more and learn to show up more!

When I am not meeting with clients, designing flowers, or planning more for my business, I am with my husband hiking or watching a movie. We love to enjoy our coffee and books, as well as being as active as possible!
